aerosol cans typically work better, upright. You may want to use a scraper that is longer than the pan is wide. Thanks for the vid. I am convinced I can tackle this chore on my own discs...

Having very nice weather right now and I'm on holiday shutdown so getting alot of outside work done. And I ordered some misprints which I'll remove the stamp if it looks bad and dye those. I think the Wraith looks more pro. I definitely plan to dye one or more discs, but with the dip dye method. I want a variation of the Simon gradient and also try to make a halo-style dyed disc

Try adding a mix of shaving cream and water to the dye bottles. It makes it easier to pour. I think both look brilliant.

However, our next video (Disc Dyeing for Newbies Part 3), we do Cell Dyes…And holy moly, it’s our favorite way to dye a disc and gave us the coolest results! Only issue with it is that it takes the most amount of tools to do. We pretty much won’t be doing any other type of dyeing method from here on out 🤪

anything from an hour to 48 hours may be necessary depending on temperature, brand, color, amount of dye, bed type, technique, desired saturation, line/cell definition, ... as you can see there are so many variables it's impossible to make a general statement about how long you should leave a disc in the bed.

Hey Frankie, thanks for the question! If you want to dye your disc a solid color with no design, you could most likely just stick it in a bowl of dye for 12 hours and it should do the trick! Depends however if you want the back of the disc to be dyed the same color as well. Hope this helps!

thanks for putting good info out.i have brain damage and need all discs 1 color,orange is by far the easiest to see so thats what i do.multi colored looks great until it lands in a shady bush then BAM ITS CAMO.i have done cream and hot dip dying,if you want a solid color like me do hot dip, its also faster and i had pockets that got missed with cream on several discs.WHOO FROLFING
