I wish you two could have had a three-way conversation with Michael Heiser while he was alive about this. I bet that would have been fascinating

Perhaps you may wish to consider looking into Caleb Jade's interviews on youtube, he was in the alphabet agencies and has encountered these entities before and creatures that live beneath the earth. He's speaking from personal firsthand experience. It may be worthwhile to consider that these things are real, even if they are beyond our current understanding.

the reason that YHWH has no equal or rivals might be because He created all things. and that He has authority over all because He is the author. Bringing to mind Romans 8:28 "We know that all things work for good for those who love God,* who are called according to his purpose."

You guys are directly attacking the Holiness of God, making visions of the prophets into mere illustrations using surrounding wicked pagan idolatry and witchcraft instead of acknowledging these revelations as pure original truth of the Holy glory of God irrelevant to the wicked pagans of the surrounding areas. Your attempt to "contextualize" is misguided and evil. You pervert what is Holy.

@@DiscipleDojo The creatures seen in the visions of the prophets are not even similar to the Babylon deities, so what has bewitched you to think you should contextualize the Holy with the profane and completely dismiss a warning concerning such a thing? You will have no part in the Holy as long as you defile it. You will have a part with the pagan deities whom you have deemed to be similar to the god you claim to serve.

Initially I thought this video would be informative to Ezekiel and Gods use of varied images. This video was nothing more than Scholars/ Theologians ( man injectinghis personal bible interpretations) talking nonsense.

I think when we talk about these things it’s important to start with. I don’t know because the truth is we don’t know. There’s no definitive proof of any of this so what we’re talking about is what we think or what we guess. One thing I always think of is when you look at Samarian culture and some others you see similarities and People always try to compare one to the other as if they are different stories and one is going to be true and the other is gonna be completely false but we have to remember that all of these come from Noah’s family before that everything got wiped out and so everything we know as far as recorded history is going to come from a place of understanding of Noah and peoples interaction with God. So the fact that you look at Samarian mythology and their story and recorded history, I think a lot of time it’s probably the same God just told by humans, which Will get things wrong or add or try to embellish or turn it into a very entertaining story or something. I think it’s far as these mythological creatures Ezekiel describes, why do we automatically assume that someone’s trying to sort of mock or diminish say Egyptian culture and their depiction of this. I really don’t think God is sitting up in heaven saying well I’m gonna show them and I’m going to use this image to show how foolish they are, I don’t think God really cares. He probably sees them all is pretty much the same as flood people who just get it wrong as pagans. So we’re talking about what we think I think it’s more likely that these are things God has created and that at some point these stories are images were passed down and immortalised into or fiction or other stories and art in other cultures and it kind of makes sense because it’s not like the Egyptians existed separately and Adam and Noah and all of his descendants were, somehow separate from all of this and not the Egyptians still came from Noah’s family and would’ve had the same basic knowledge in history that and the Jews and everyone else had but may not have recorded it as accurately or clearly and may have sat around campfires getting drunk and making up stories and embellishing and changing them and trying to entertain his grandkids made things bigger scarier or more magical and created his own version of that. A lot of times people will start looking to the Canaanite religions or the Sumerians or others and for some reason there’s this habit of saying well maybe the Jews kind of took this premise and worked it into theirs, I don’t know why we even assume that when it’s more likely that the similarities are because God is reality And he is the same creator in reality of the Egyptians and the Aryans and the canine and non-Jews as well so there are similarities in the stories. They’re probably based on something that is a creation of God being told in different ways and I think it’s more logical to assume, that these things exist and Ezekiel describe them as he saw them and maybe in the past somebody else saw them and told the stories and that’s what ended up in the Egyptian artwork and hieroglyphics and the stories of the Aryans in the canine. If you sit around and listen to The night stuff and read about Molik and Shira and all of these people there are similarities and things that carryover into other religions including Judaism and these are probably the things that are true but when you start looking at Mollick you’re talking about people that raped cows and made a big club to defeat his enemies and the first one didn’t work so he made it even greater club, sounds like a bunch of drunk guy sitting around a campfire talking about how hard-core they are how tough their gang or something or how they beat somebody up and sound very human from a psychological standpoint sound like a mythical story of ego retold until it became fantasy and some sort of Legendary story but they’re inconsistent with reality and the rest of it inconsistent with God which makes sense because it’s pagan people kind of making up their own rituals and stories and practices to justify their human nature, Mohammed did make up that it was OK to take women a slaves and be your concubine and have sex with a bunch of women because he hated having sex with women. He was just Some degenerate pervert created his man made religion to justify his humanly urges and once and wishes and what he liked and wanted he created a fake religion around his humanistic desires and give him justification for doing things that were bad. This is what’s different about Judeo Christian doctrine is it doesn’t glorify human desire it tells us the truth. It tells us how to live how the world is design how everything was created and how it works and a lot of it we don’t like because it reflects reality it doesn’t reflect what we want it to reflect it describes the Adamic nature but it is not written to pander to it. It talks about the sinful weakness of humanity and our sin nature but it doesn’t try to justify it and rational it like man-made religions do. If you look at them from a psychological standpoint trying to evaluate the psych of those creating these stories when you get to the Bible, what you see is people writing things down how they happened you don’t see people, making things up to fit their own desires and things that they want. This is just the difference between accurate and rational recording of his story and people making up to justify the things they want to do. But with these things it’s not that Ezekiel was describing UFOs, UFO as an unidentified flying object he was identifying something he saw flying around as an angelic being. A UFO is just something we see and don’t know what it is and can’t identify it and we’re just guessing , maybe this is what we see when people see a UFO they see a ring with little windows around it. Maybe they’re saying the same thing that Ezekiel and describing it differently because we have modern times and different language and ways we describe things and we associate things with what we know. I just think that maybe some of these things in other mythology aren’t just completely fantasy and something they just made up out of the blue that are completely false. Maybe there’s somewhat based in reality. When you look at the teachings of Buddha a lot of it is very basic psychology and how to treat people and his in good nature and godly principal but it makes sense because the people who wrote that are still the descendants of Noah and his family and their descendants at one time had knowledge of God because Noah and his family did so it’s going to influence everything and they may not depict it correctly or accurately, they still had some knowledge of it at one time not unreasonable to believe that different mythology and some of the imagery they show based on things that really exist, maybe what Ezekiel is what the people who inspired the Egyptian art of the animals with human heads and mixed animal type beings And that’s where they got the inspiration from it as well. I find it personally much harder to believe that God is sitting there inspiring scripture and has people using symbolism from other cultures and kind of mocking it or making fun of it. It just seems much more logical that they’re both coming from the same place and other people just wrote down their viewpoint of it, which is different, because Ezekiel is being inspired by God to create scripture and doctrine to educate his people. So I guess it’s my perspective that it’s much more likely that these are inspired by the things that do exist and though they may be in a spiritual realm may have been shown to people like Ezekiel been handed down in stories from people who did see these things somehow whether it be in a dream or a vision and they just tell it a little differently that somebody else has interpretation of what it could be. I’m not saying these other depictions and writings are accurate but it’s possible that the similarities come from reality and to me that makes more sense than God trying to use symbolism from other cultures to speak to us through his profits and those who wrote our scriptures
