I've been working out only with bands and kettlebells for almost two years now. The pandemic provided the incentive for me to quit my gym membership once and for all, and I never looked back :) Great to see you're promoting bands as a serious bodybuilding tool, you're one of very few (less than a handful...) people doing that, and your content is doing a great job at making band training more accessible! While I was familiar with the exercises you presented, the alt lat pull down was a new one for me - what a cool idea! Getting in more TUT while doing unilateral training sounds perfect for a burn-out set to get those stubborn lats to grow. Will definitely try it out for my next back session on Friday! Keep the great content coming and good luck with growing your channel!

Great exercises. Also it's neat how you always stay smiling, lighthearted and repeat certain catchphrases across all your videos - it adds a little dose of personality in there that helps your audience to connect with your videos, become familiar with you and ultimately want to come back and watch more. Also I second what the other commenter said about it being a good thing that you narrate the exercises while doing them.

I understand and agree with the idea of slow reps. But James Grage encourages fast explosive reps on the last set only to activate fast twitch muscle fibers. What are your thoughts on that?
@DisciplineDave2 ай бұрын
Not that it doesn’t work, but I just feel like fast twitch muscle fibers are over emphasize. Fast twitch are not the only muscle fibers. I’m preaching slow because most people go too fast but very few go too slow, but don’t get me wrong. They are both important.

I felt the stretch on my sore back lats for the first time, more than any machine at the gym. using the resistance band and the stretch was so good that I got addicted to the feeling. Its like the sensation of giving in and scratching misquito bites or poison ivy and just succumbing to the euphoria and relief you feel. I'll be doing this daily now, I'm addicted to the feeling. My back is gunna explode so hard.

Hey Dave isn’t the general idea to train each muscle group twice a week to get the most gains? Like do biceps, triceps, chest twice a week, but your workout routine only works a muscle group once a week, I’m confused on what to follow
