Honestly, this comment should have been highlighted. It surely helped me a lot. I had to stick with alternative exercises aside to using house properties. I will say it once more, it helped me a lot. (Note: I had to improvise my resistance bands to using recycled bike tubes)

I really love how you make sure to speak slowly and to enunciate clearly, and use no music. It helps a lot when English is not one's native language, more so when learning a lot of new terms. One thing making getting into fitness hard for me as an absolute beginner is not understanding all the jargon yet. And at my age, learning simply is harder than it was when I was 20. Loved the tip to try an exercise the wrong and right ways first to feel the difference, that will really help in learning all those moves, which for a beginner can be overwhelming. Also, your style makes it easier for me, as an autist, to stay focused. So, thank you for not rushing, thank you for not being loud, thank you for keeping distraction to a minimum.

I live in a small apartment on the second floor. Having 2000-4000 pounds of weights up here is out of the question. But, resistance bands, yeah... I can do that. I've been using bands for nine months, and I've gained more muscles with them in that time span than I have with weights in the past 43 yrs. I've received more insight from your research on bands that have aided me in my weight training. I appreciate the time you put into you videos, and look forward to seeing more in the future. Keep up the good work... and thanks.

Thank you James for your help explaining band training. I have gone back to the gym at 72 years old. I had lost the mind muscle connection and was struggling. Since using bands as a warmup before lifting heavy I am achieving brilliant results. Thanks to you and your bands and your explanation of body mechanics, something I had long forgotten. All the best for you in your future endeavours, I shall keep watching as you tell it like it is. Thank you. John Upton, Tasmania.

I've been using tube style Resistance bands all my life and recently purchased a set of undersun resistance bands and I can strongly attest that they are way better than tube bands. As I am writing this my quads and hamstrings are really sore from a leg workout yesterday something I haven't felt for a while when I was using tube bands. His TA2 is really convenient for people like me who travel a lot not to mention that the bands are super convinient when it comes to packing. Over all a great product.

I love the close-ups, so that you can't see the athlete doing the movement. That really makes a lot of sense. I think whoever made this video thought that she could charge more for it if she strung together a lot of close-ups that just cut off the athlete and prevent the viewer from seeing him. Then the video-maker thought she could charge more for all those annoying shots, instead of just resting the camera showing the athlete's full body and the bands, so that the viewer could see how the athlete works with the bands.

@cbodsworth
@cbodsworth 4 жыл бұрын
@@tarreemhacaruso2687 i really enjoy them. Been working out for about 20 years, and these are a very functional way of training. I feel like bands workout the tendons and ligaments in a way most other routines cannot. Its very cost effective also. I have noticed that i have a lot more energy and speed, over doing something like heavy sandbags that would have me exhausted for a few days. If you are not into the idea of bands you could try indian clubs, sandbags, mace, or kettlebells for an alternative for home workouts, they all have pros and cons depending on your goals. For those sorts of things i usually go to onnit.com but i have been on straight bands since nov 1st and have no complaints. Shipping is way way cheaper for bands over stuff like kettlebells.

@Cameron Bodsworth I was heavy into fitness at one time so I have kettlebells and other bands weights and stuff. I did a lot of stuff from home at one time and then joined a gym when I wanted to start lifting heavy. I had a little one almost three years ago and giving birth wrecked havoc on my body. I decided last month to start working out and my body has started changing immediately. But my workouts are wiping me out. Plus I get bored quickly. I stumbled upon James Grage and I liked the bands for variation. Plus I don’t feel as wiped with the small bands I have even though I love my dumbbells. I’m impressed with his use of the bands. I think I’m going to purchase them. Thanks for the website link. I appreciate it.

Really like the way this is explained. Takes pressure of arms, I also used some ankle straps around my wrist so my hands weren't gripping.

Great workouts with bands.! Unbelievable how much it has given me mind muscle connection. So much easier to isolate each muscle and feel it immediately.

Love these vids. Ive been getting a little over the gym lately. Just got me some resistance bands and my god the pump! The contraction feels stronger with bands also. Dont know if its just me. Thanks for providing such quality advice 👍🏻👍🏻

bernzie001 yeah I’m with you. I prefer the contractions and pumps I get with resistance bands over that of free weights

James, I was getting ready to purchase your bands. I always check reviews because I a m a cautious consumer. I saw so many negative reviews and the customer service was subpar. I do really enjoy your videos they're very informative but as far as the bands I will have to seek them somewhere else. All the reviews I got were on Amazon and there were alot. Just FYI I still will be subscribed to your channel though. Thanks
