As I was listening to Dr. Mishkin, I noticed how collected his thoughts are that he can explain a 2,000 year span of Jewish history in 3 minutes. And it amazes me how it seems like I just read an entire book. Gift of God's wisdom.

Thank you! It wasn’t until I came to Yeshua that I truly have been able to rejoice in my Jewish roots. The whole idea behind replacement theology makes me cringe inside. The gospel is to the Jew FIRST and also to the gentile. Jesus entered the world a Jew, lived perfectly as a Jew, crucified King of the Jews and resurrected on the third day as our living Hope and will return as the Lion of Judah!!

Yes I when I first went to Israel and did a course in History of Judaism Hellenisation of church and persecution of the Jews with Inside Israel , I shed any tears and it opened my eyes further to the connection and relevance of Israel and the Jewish people to the story of creation and humans and I was forever changed. And discovered my Grandmother was born of a German Jew, brought up in England , it shone a whole new light of course on everything biblical. I have one cousin that. The Prodigal son story tells the story of that son returning to his Father and his Father's land. The first story in Luke 15 is the Shepherd leaves the 99 sheep to go after that one lost sheep. The Jewish population is less than 1% of the world population. Later, Yeshua tells of two sons, one leaves and goes abroad, away from his father. But later, during a severe famine (like Joseph's story), he returns to his father.

Christians don't replace Jews. We are grafted in to the Jewish branch. Anyone who thinks Christians replace Jews as God's people is either ignorant of scripture or wilfully twisting scripture. Once The Almighty pulled me to Him. I was raised between the Catholic and Lutheran man made religions. Listening to my grandma who in secret with a friend Maria while they prayed, studied Isaiah, celebrated strange holidays and food restrictions did I feel a power to draw closer to Jesus as These wonderful women shared gospel and Isaiah 41 52&53. Then the end where Israel would return to faith. My Grandma's family immigrated from Poland before occupation. Many letters shared men boys and most relatives had been slaughtered and women ran to caves. I'm 69 now. Love Yeshua and never was allowed to accept replacement theology. My Grandma's faith in the restoration of the Israelites and Hashem's unwaivering commitment to His own covenant with Himself. Israel was always His heart.

I am saved by grace as a Gentile since 2005 with my husband, we're in Germany but do not know our distant ancestry because of the war. God used the book of Job (the search for the FATHER) to reach my heart during a time of grief. Could also be we are genetically from Jewish tribes unknowingly but everything is lost in WW2. How refreshing getting back to hear this teaching after Oct 7th. I was planning on taking the course, but after what happened everything got scattered. I even totally forgot about this and the wonderful words of wisdom. I wish I took the course. I can’t help to see a parallelism between the holocaust and this second holocaust now in Israel. The messianic Judaism in the raise among Jews and the enemy coming to destroy the brethren trying to stop them. Amazing! When Christianity stopped being persecuted and later became an official religion, myriads of Romans were baptized without preparation and Messianic Jews, who were no longer in the majority, lost much of their ability to influence and correct the direction of Christianity. I think this is now reversing. Many Christians love and support the Jews in Israel which is a blessing! May God bless Israel and its people always!

I learned that the change from Saturday to Sunday came about later to differentiate Christians from Jews, for various more political reasons, persecution etc.

That's what i learned as well. Many ppl think the change happened when Constantine declared Sunday to be the Christian day of worship, but that's only when the change became finalized. The epistles show the change was gradual when the Gentile converts started to abandon the commanded Sabbath for Simon Magus' counterfeit Christian religions.
