Sister Laurie. I’m not sure about your response. As I look at scripture; there are still so many things hidden that we won’t know till they come about. And yes; we need to be aware as John is told. Shalom and may Yah bless you John 15 is one of the most beautiful passages in the Bible in my heart. Never done a DNA test but as far as I know I am not Jewish. I have been grafted into The Vine however, and like our Father Abraham, I am a Hebrew (by verbal definition) because I have crossed over from the ways of the world to the ways of Yah the Most High. Thank you! It wasn’t until I came to Yeshua that I truly have been able to rejoice in my Jewish roots. The whole idea behind replacement theology makes me cringe inside. The gospel is to the Jew FIRST and also to the gentile. Jesus entered the world a Jew, lived perfectly as a Jew, crucified King of the Jews and resurrected on the third day as our living Hope and will return as the Lion of Judah!!

@1967John_P I am still getting comfortable with my ministry, and I am still not 100% sure of where it is leading me. I just keep moving in Spirit and trust in YHWH's divine timing that all will be revealed. The meek shall inherit the Earth. This meek one is taking time to heal and is still finding her voice.

The Prodigal son story tells the story of that son returning to his Father and his Father's land. The first story in Luke 15 is the Shepherd leaves the 99 sheep to go after that one lost sheep. The Jewish population is less than 1% of the world population. Later, Yeshua tells of two sons, one leaves and goes abroad, away from his father. But later, during a severe famine (like Joseph's story), he returns to his father.

Do not forget the evangelical revival in the sixties of the last century: they recognized that replacement theology was wrong. Many young Jews found their Messiah through the movement. Further, even during WWII there were messianic Jews (Ernest Cassuto’s book “the last Jew of Rotterdam”).

I feel something that is often overlooked is the fact that by including Gentiles, the church eventually became predominantly gentile, and therefore the Jews within it were eventually subsumed. The synagogue became the church. If not for rabbinic Judaism, there would be no distinctly Jewish people today. If the Jewish people en masse did not accept Jesus as their Messiah, perhaps it ensured their very survival.

Im not from them from One for Israel ministry, but just saying: many of them are kinda crazy. :) After they fall love to Israel they adopt this mentality that Jews know everything and they are loving orthodox Jews thinking they are even better, and only thing if they just believe in Jesus they are up there in the top. But there needs to be separated what is right kind of " going back to roots" and what is not. There is Gods calendar and I have seen God is following it. Like Now, I forgat there was NewYear and day of trumpet. But HolySpirit separated me more in to worshiping. Evening my brother called and said me about this and said " there should be worshiping in this day" ps. Now there is yomkippur . Gods calendar has been coming true on these feasts like Pentecost so of course its important. problem in all this is "the Law debate" but all Apostoles and leaders and Holy Spirit already answer this clearly in the bible, it was not to gentiles to follow Torah

That's what i learned as well. Many ppl think the change happened when Constantine declared Sunday to be the Christian day of worship, but that's only when the change became finalized. The epistles show the change was gradual when the Gentile converts started to abandon the commanded Sabbath for Simon Magus' counterfeit Christian religions.

I would so love to take this course. I've really wondered how things went south and that the Sabbath and the other feasts stopped being recognized by the early church. I've been reading some of the early church writers/fathers and it amazes me how soon things changed and a anti-Semitic spirit arose in their writings. I understand a bit why it might have happened from the book of Acts/Romans. Regardless as to why they drifted, I'd like to know if it is true that the Gentile Christians compromised and went with the "Lord's Day" because of their fear of being associated with the Jews and therefore be kicked out. However, they had their own persecutions too. And it seemed as though the Lord still blessed them with miracles in their midst even though they drifted away from the practices of Sabbath and keeping the feasts. Thanks for having this "teaser" if you will.

Clare, What you are saying "Our lady was the first" Sounds like a doctrine of Catholicism. I want to give you a challenge. If you read the Bible for yourself in a good translation that is faithful To accuracy such as the NASB New American Standard, you will see that every major doctrine of the Catholic church is repeatedly contradicted by the words of Jesus and his disciples. Then the question is, Are we to look to Jesus and the inspired words through his disciples, Or to the doctrines of men? Jesus directly denounced this approach: [Mark 7:8-9 NASB20] 8 "Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men." 9 He was also saying to them, "You are experts at setting aside the commandment of God in order to keep your tradition. I do not know how to say this. But your view is similar to the Mormans narrative. There are many of us who are decendants from those early Messianic belivers who are present this day in the Eastern and Western Orthodox church. You need to see how we worship, the form of worship which was given by the Apostles to this very day, based on the Temple. The Apostles also formed the priesthood, which continues to this day. As Paul said "there is neither Jew or Gentile " as our Heavenly Father doesn't see any difference among his children. There is one Faith, one Church and one Baptism. And according to Paul " we can be easily grafted out, as we where grafted in." That applies to all of us, the natural and the wild branches. Because the trunk is Jesus. Stud a bit more on church history.

It makes me sad & amazes me that Messianic Jews never tell the TRUTH as written in the Book of Acts - basically, it was the unbelieving Jews that rejected the Gentile early believers & caused a lot of death & persecution to the early Believers both Jew & Gentile & probably Constantine noticed that also. It has been quoted to me that the law brings death & the Spirit brings life - ELOHIM, our Supreme God, is LOVE & whenever we hurt anyone we are hurting Him was what He told me after I made JESUS LORD of my life at 15 so I attempt to live in peace with everyone as our Apostle Paul taught & live in TRUTH ( the reality of Heaven) - I thank our LORD YESHUA/JESUS that He promised to never leave or forsake us, His Believers.

Does Sholam Asche fall into this? I’m reading the Nazarene. Which I think he wrote after spending time incarcerated in the US for performing a play “God of Vengeance” which was controversial. The only reading materials in some jails/prisons were the Bible and Pilgrim’s Progress at one point.
