The scenery is awesome! The climbing would do me in. I would need a nap half way up. Those cable cars look like they'd be fun to ride.

Isn't it stunning! love chaning scenery like that 😁 not sure if bikes are allowed on the gondola (cable car) but would be su[per cool if they they could!

Great ride, lots of views, loved the bike pull over lanes. We need those gondolas up to the hill here or maybe Mt Lofty.

Aren't they awesome! There was a much better example 10mins earlier, but I didn't film it, would love if all roads had them. It would really help to improve relations between motorists and cyclists sharing the road 😃 Christchurch cycling infrastructure is almost as good as Perth's! 🚴♀️🚴

Wow fantastic video Serafina, glad you liked my ride! You went through my home town of Tai Tapu. Well done doing the steep climb above Lyttelton, I don't regularly do that bit. You didn't stop at Coffee Culture Lyttelton like me though, I always stop there lol The tip for getting over that cattle stop is to just go for it with plenty of power. When I was a kid though I always walked it. Love riding those roads, they are firmly in my heart 😃

Thank you for creating an awesome route! It was so cool, every road, every climb, every view, a fun surprise 🤩 I'll have to download some more of your routes when I'm back in Christchurch 🙏 And thanks for the cattle stop tip, I ride over them on my gravel bike, but they scare the 💩 out of me riding over on my roadie! 😂

@@CyclewithSerafinaNo problem 😃 Another great ride I do is over to Port Levy, you will love it. Yes that cattle stop is on a steep bit and it's hard to get the necessary speed. It's also dangerous in the wet. It's been the same since I was a kid in the 70's lol 😂
