Kinda sad to know Underevent is ending next year, cause Underverse's *sole animator* just took a year off after the release of 0.8 part 1 2 months back (the usual shit, artist harassed for no good reason, nearly cancels their passion project, calms down and takes a hiatus, internet try not to ruin people's passion challenge: impossible). It takes around a year for each episode (with 1.0 being the intended finale) so unfortunately, it seems Underverse's only presence at Underevent will be the Nostophobia animatic teaser, seeing as they're probably only get 2 months of work on the episode. Hope to see some reactions to Underverse and XTale in the future. Underverse is one of those "animatory continually improves their skills" types of fan animations. Starting kinda simple and rough, and then having its latter half be like 50% sakuga animation, and XTale was made at the halfway point of Underverse as an adaptation of the animator's comic, which is basically a prequel of Underverse. The story and animation of Underverse and XTale is genuinely incredible and I wholeheartedly recommend it. EDIT: as it turns out, Jakei was actually on the animation team for Underevent this year! Going off what I know of their animation style (and its quality) I'd say 2:41:12 to 2:42:44 was their work. It's honestly kinda fitting that she'd animate the downfall of the Omega Timeline considering how exceedingly dire things are getting in Underverse right now-

Seeing the amount of effort and work put into this showcase is absolutely amazing. The animations that were created are gorgeous. Not to mention how good all the new fan-made Undertale creations look. Literally everything looks and sounds fantastic; I don’t think there’s a single bad thing here.

I feel like, Toriel could not be the Noelle of Chapter 3, but the Berdly of Chapter 3, it’s clear she wouldn’t just follow Kris’ commands normally. But Asgore? It’s already been show how he depends on Kris, so maybe. Kris could also just tell both of them like: “oh, this is just like in the games I play, just follow me and do as I say since I’m a pro, blah blah blah and all is a dream”
