They are also really respectful of their females they only ever get involved when they start fighting,. The only real time they are aggressive is towards threats and other silver backs otherwise they are exceptionally peaceful and very loving beings its very difficult to call them animals bit more than that

I worked at the wild animal park/San Diego Zoo and for 3 years was around the gorillas from 5am to 9am, before the park was open. Trib, the Silverback was impressive. I saw him crush a whole coconut in one hand like it was a grape.

Putting them in cages,medical experiments (many times when we didn't even need to ) ,using them to entertain us etc.....and yes,many human beings have said they're "just stupid animals".....and many more humans have said that through their actions. Though it's a fictional movie,I guess you never saw "Planet of the Apes"? The whole movie is predicated on that very idea.

This is Shabani. The youngsters are his son Kiomasa and daughter Annie (she's the one whose hair on the back of her head seems to stand up into a point), The very dark middle-sized one is Ai, the younger of Shabani's two wives and mother of Annie. Shabani loves to play chase.

PLEASE FREE THESE GORILLAS. THESE ANIMALS DON'T DESERVE TO BE LOCKED UP IN A SMALL CAGE SPACE LIKE THIS. HUMANS NEED TO STOP THESE BEHAVIORS.

I feel terrible for these intelligent creature to be locked in a damn Zoo with all that unnecessary noise and people constantly staring at them for half of the day!!!

omg, it’s disgusting- humans are so effing mental, all zoos should be emptied and condemned, these beautiful animals should be returned to their natural world and left to mature naturally in the wild. Too sad to witness that they’re prisoners.

@@MsBonijoni I know it sucks but that big gorilla is not even a full grown yet still need a training then they will let him go and I don’t know if you know how powerful these beasts are they are as strong as ten men an hav one of the strongest bite force in the animal kingdom

@@llljujulll6272 they deserve better, they deserve to be left in their natural habitats away from people who make cash off of their misery by selling park tickets. The gorilla’s being ‘trained’, like by a human? By another species other than its own? the comment would be laughable if it wasn’t so honestly sad, it’s not being trained, it’s a prisnor. .Zoo owners should be shipped in cages to the far reaches of the jungle and have to fend for themselves, they’d know then how cruel life is for wild animals locked in zoos, for any animal constricted to a cage and this includes puppy mills- I’m not dissing your comment but enuf is enuf already. .

It's sad how small their enclosure is. The dad just wants a bit of space. He's so big strong and fast. He deserves at least triple this space.

I'm not stupid they should be in the wild lock humans up in cages .I tired of people taking over animals habitat. They are killing baboons in Cape Town if they become a nuisance.People are invading there space .We should have more respect for them.
