Hug it, it will bite you neck, or twist your head. You have no idea how dangerous these animals are.
@mchevre
@mchevre Жыл бұрын
@@Satyaprakash81102 You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Orangutans are very gentle creatures and even adults rarely resort to violence unless a mother is fighting to protect her baby or two adult males are fighting over territory - and even those scenarios are uncommon. Baby orangutans in particular are very docile. Perhaps you confused them with chimpanzees, who once they go through puberty can become unpredictable and potentially lethally dangerous if the person dealing with them is not a trained expert. But even chimpanzees, being the most unpredictable and dangerous of apes, are relatively harmless and docile as babies. Baby orangutans instinctively want to hug and cling to people because in nature they spend almost all their time clinging to their mothers for safety and comfort. Thus, if she were to hug Peanut, it would be exactly what peanut wants - and peanut would cling to her and become calmer and more content. Now, once Peanut became a fully grown adult male, hugging it would not be a good idea - but that is clearly not what the OP was talking about.

I don't mind picking out Nestle of the bunch, because Nestle is a real shit company, but please make sure to check the ingridients list of everything you eat and if you discover palm oil in the list, try to find an alternative that doesn't use palm oil. As I watched Peanut struggling, I could see, when he was crying, that everything in his female caregiver's body language was telling her to go comfort him and hold him. But she knew she had to let Peanut figure this out on his own....no matter how scary it felt. If he wants to succeed in Jungle School, he's going to have to learn to master climbing on his own.

@ 0:55 when he's laying there looking at the camera, the vet working away. It astounds me how trusting they are. I remember a show called Orangutan Island where one of the Orangutans was bitten by a venomous snake. Her leg had swelled up, loaded with pus. The vet shaved her leg, had to make an incision to drain the venomous pus, and NOT ONCE did she flinch, bite, or be aggressive. It was amazing how you literally could see the trust. The lady who runs the facility was there as well holding her hand, and again she'd look up at her human being friend and you saw the trust and love? It was really amazing. My dog needed 4 people and restraints for his vaccines, while this Orangutan had major problems handled and she never once flinched.

Is he sick? His temperature was fine. After months in quarantine isolation, and the trauma of losing his mother, he more likely needed affection and physical playful contact. Which is not the scientist's program, so a later cold got used for the excuse for the documentary.

agreed, they are so intelligent it's crazy....
