All armies (i don't know about the soviet) used Amphetamine during the War, only the Germans made a mistake by giving their troops they way more potent Methamphetamine. And also the Japanese gave it their Kamikaze pilots. It is pretty wel documented.
@paujoan401
@paujoan401 2 жыл бұрын
I don't think they made a mistake by using Meth instead of regular amps, the mistake was purely strategic desicions based on the over-confidence that Hitler had, he thought that fighting against the Allies and the Soviet Union at the same time was humanly doable, instead if they purely focused on one front maintaining England neutral and fighting against the Soviet Union only, that could probably changed the outcome of the entire war. Stimulation of meth at therapeutic oral doses feels a lot less "forced" and "recreational" than regular amphetamines, I can tell you as I used both for ADHD, and my research from other people tells a similar experience. At higher doses both become recreational. At higher doses toxicity may be higher for meth as it stimulates way more serotonin.

I read a lot about Pervitin and Isophan and how it affected the Wehrmacht during WWII. It played a huge part in the 1939 campaign against the European Countries, .and i can tell you the french never new what hit them. Pervitin and Isophan especially Peritan was given out in massive quantities to the troops on the front line. For the first 4 or so days i'm sure the troops fought with superhuman strength and felt great doing it. They shocked the world with their European conquests, but after 4 or so days of dosage after dosage it made the troops so sleep deprived that some went quite mad, even going as far as threatening or assaulting their own officers. It may have seemed they were at there peak in strength in 1939 but it was really the beginning of there downfall.

The newspaper clipping at 4:24 is bogus. It is dated August 24 1940 but it has a picture of a MK VI Tiger tank. The Tigers initial design began in1941 after operation Barbarossa and Tiger production didn’t begin until 1942.

The newspaper is a mock-up to navigate copyright infringement - and clearly art producer that made it must have put an incorrect tank in picture, partly because he probably wasn't such a loser to think it would be important or that boring little people like you might pick it up. but THE TEXT & HEADLINE of the newspaper article is absolutely verbatim accurate, sourced by myself from the British Newspaper Archive in north London. It's no conspiracy it's just a simple mistake. The 'media' are just ordinary people with ordinary jobs - however much you wish to make it more exciting.

This video illustrates Harm Reduction as a beneficial drug control policy. Both the Allied & Axis powers used amphetamines during WWII.Allies used amphetamines' but the Axis used Methamphetamine (Pervertin)It was issued to all enlisted men to take as needed, Whereas an officer was responsible for dosing in the Allied Armies. Meth did help the Germans at first to win with Blitzkrieg. But after days of no sleep & not being able to sleep, they started to make mistakes.

1990 I left Iowa with $175 I blew a tire I came here with 150. I went into Wayne Lee's grocery store in Pascagoula Mississippi walked around for 10 minutes trying to find a pop. Finally I went back to the meat department and there were two boys holding each other up and I said excuse me where can I get a pop . This went back and forth several times and finally they said what does do.

I love some comments regarding this subject. Drugs have been used for ever. Alchol, opium etc etc... ofcourse this is no ground breaking doco... one of many, books etc... the point is that for all the supposed benefits, the side effects were too extreme. No human is able to stay on a continuous high dosage of meth and stay mentally stable.

methampetamine or crystal meth or amphetamines xd cmon choose one , they are not entirely the same. The methyl group matters, and i dont think they were smoking it, so it must not have been in crystal form.

Technically not crystal meth. That would be Methylenediamine-D this was just Methamphetamine given street shake and bake shit is like 10% pure sometimes this was 100% pure with a mix of other shit to keep one going. SSRs were combined with a pure product and so the human system would tolerate such a high dose they placed stomach easing chemicals and absorption chemicals in it. Less hallucinations and fits of warmness more aggression and sleeplessness. The nazis also used steroids and a complex hgh which we still don't fully understand here. Cocaine was also used but only with additives but not an impure but but enhancers this increased awareness and made them over confident but about to take anything almost without pain. Pain killers themselves despite some reports were running thin so they developed methadone but not the cut orange stuff you see today that does little but the pure green stuff that can ease a missing foot. Also Lidocaine and Novocain. So yea they were on drugs by their own reports but it was not the "bad shit" they were on it to enhance their performance. Most of this shit doesn't exist today in the same form and its all junk that is 90% trash that will kill you and 10% shit that makes you feel good but does nothing.
