I am new to the world of discus. I currently have 6 red melon and 4 blue diamond x blue torquoise that are all around 7cm. There is one that is only 5cm, he's not growing as fast as everyone else. It is eating but spends a lot of time on its own, he might just be a runt. I am experienced with mbuna and angelfish and am thinking I might employ a strategy i use with them when I have fish isolating themselves - add more. I think most cichlids do better when there are more to disperse any bullying and the larger numbers make them feel safer. What would you suggest I do with my runt?
