Good advice normally, but if you're talking about the part I think you're talking about (3:50) then he was doing that mainly to mimic the NPC smoking next to him. He wanted to heal too, but the main purpose was the animation. Anything to make him not stand out.

The trouble I think with the tier system is that sometimes Alex is too reluctant / hesitant to go up a tier, but doing so makes for good / entertaining content. Would it be better if it was timed instead? eg - First 8 hours, only the lower tier cars. 2nd 8 hours - aircraft and sports cars unlocked, last 8 hours - supercars unlocked

The problem is, per the actual STH commentary, once you're on the train you're eventually going to have to try and get back off. Plus it follows a set route, isn't all that fast, and ends up going out of the permitted play area so you'd HAVE to get off, probably in a very predictable place - it's worse even than the subway. Your only hope for using it is to get on without being seen and without it being the only sensible option.

For the first time in my memory it was referred to as the river, and then corrected to storm drain. Los Santos of course being based on Los Angeles, and that is exactly what the LA river looks like. 10:45 why I tend to go for the low powered vehicles when mucking about in Beam... that and generally using keyboard. If you're not racing or doing some kind of challenge it's just annoying. And although this is a race type challenge somewhat, in this situation it sort of changes the landscape a bit, different parts of the road are challenging and an alternate skill set is in play vs that used for employing Blinding Speed without dying.
