I enjoyed this discussion Pan. We should have left the record button on. We ended up spending another 1 talking about life. I hope that those watching will listen to the words we are saying and leave behind the judgement, assessment, and opinion behind that we all carry. Instead just take it for what it is.

The message I take out of this video discussion is that success is a journey, not a goal. Find what you are passionate about, work hard, and do it well. What makes life interesting is to not only look inside yourself to discover who you really are but also to be open to other people and their experiences. Be flexible and open to change on your journey. Success comes in many different flavors but it is a journey.

Thankfully, I'm surrounded with mostly positive viewers and a growing community way past what I had ever imagined could be possible in the detailing world on KZbin. It is sad to see, but I guess it comes with the territory. Bottom line is that I try to deliver the best possible content, informative and entertaining videos, and hopefully share my passion for detailing with you guys day in, and day out. :)

Matt, I am so happy that you shared your story. I struggle with the same issues and and everybody has always told me I'm weird and I don't ever feel like I fitted but yet you make social watch sense to me. I'm a very passionate person and currently in my job I have told my boss several times that I feel like I'm caged up and my wings are clipped and once in a while they let me out of the cage the cage but my wings are not allowed to grow. When I try to make the programs that I supervise specific to what I think it needs my supervisors providers seem to not like that so I can never feel good about what I do as a job working in Human services. I totally get why you do what you do and and I'm so glad that you're successful. You're really motivating to listen to and it makes me feel like I can do it too. The beauty of this interview exemplifies that success can come from different viewpoints both of which are equally relevant in the same space and to the same audience. Thank you for that! Yes I agree, today's world is a weird one online, with keyboard warriors trying to spread hate and negativity. I stay away from those people as much as I can. They feel they are entitled to their opinions, and most often they're not even backed by facts. They are just mad with their own lives and get jealous of other people's success, instead of focusing on how they could improve their own lives. If they spent half as much time working harder as they do writing stupid comments, their lives would improve. :)

When I became obsessed with Car Detailing as an “Enthusiast” I had 2 people I turned too for help, especially on stuff I needed, to include products. Initially it Auto Fanatic, then Matt Moreman “Obsessed Garage” and “Apex Detail”. Over the years my list of those I’ve have Subscribed to has grown. Mainly by the products I want to use to make my car look nicer. The latest being Ceramic Coatings. The Ceramic Coatings manufacturers is endless with each having promises and “Hype”. Somehow I ended up viewing you, PAN and your KZbin video on AvalonKing and now I’m hooked. And now I’m sitting here watching the Podcast between you “PAN” and Matt “Obsessed Garage””. Great Video!

Thank you for the kind words Ron! And since you have subscribed to my channel, let me officially welcome you to the Pan The Organizer family! You found one of the biggest and fastest growing detailing channels on KZbin as we're about to surpass 600,000 subscribers and we're getting close to 70 million views. I love sharing my 23 years of detailing experience with my viewers and my passion for detailing sees no limits. It's beyond OCD at this point lol. All three channels you mentioned, Auto Fanatic (Phil), Obsessed Garage (Matt) and APEX Detail (Brian) I'm friends with. All three are great guys and have different outlooks about detailing. That's one cool thing about detailing is that there is no definitive way of doing things. Each person has their own twist or regimen or routine based on what they learned and their personal experience. There are always new things to learn, new techniques, new products that push innovation to new levels, and so on. It's a fun time to be detailing compared to where we were just 10 years ago. Night and day. How did you discover my channel by the way? And what's your favourite video on my channel so far?

When I first started my KZbin channel, I remember my dad saying he was disappointed that I would "waste" my time doing videos about my passion for detailing, and that a smart guy like me could be way more productive with his free time. I didn't let that stop me, as I knew what I was doing. Fast forward five years later to today, he sees the results and he is absolutely mesmerized by the empire I have built through KZbin and all the people I have helped and the massive 640,000 subscribers audience that I have built, and all that crazy hard work that went into building this channel from the ground up, and he is super proud. :). I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of watching two channels that I can relate to more. Everything you guys are talking about, pursuing passions, wanting to seem impressive through acquisition of knowledge, excelling at things you're passionate about. Don't think I've ever watched a video on youtube that hit home quite like this one. It's quite a nice feeling knowing there are other people like that out there. So thanks a lot and keep it up...... ok back to researching boost controllers 🤦♂️

Thanks for doing this, Pan! I've been following both you and Matt for a few years now. I actually found my passion for detailing through your videos. I can totally relate with what you said about getting new products and testing them out. Some might even say that I'm a collector of paint sealants these days. I've spent far more than I care to admit on detailing products, much of which I got from Obsessed Garage (no graphene, obviously!). It sure is an expensive hobby, but it's something I have been really enjoying. Really appreciate all that you and Matt both do. Love the content and am looking forward to seeing what you guys have in store for 2021. Also looking forward to hearing more about the new car you have coming up. Going to be sad to see the M550 go, but I know you won't disappoint with whatever comes next! Happy New Year!

IMHO biggest takeaway for me from this amazing collab is we all have differing paths, experiences, opinions and goals in life that can provide our own personal achievement or satisfaction. The ability to have all the information be it biased or unbiased to make our own personal informed decision is monumental. I appreciate both sides of this discussion as I see myself as 50/50 of each. Many of friends are are the 1% best of the best and the others are "the daily grind, gets you by" My goal in life is to always try and explore "the next thing" 3 weeks ago I didn't have any desire to dive into the rabbit hole of auto detailing, but the situation presented itself with a new car and now it's a fun project until I get bored and just have to maintain it. That is my "disease" I go all in on something I find interesting until I get to my own self fulfillment and then it's on to the next "thing" Thanks for the video Pan & Matt keep up the amazing videos Pan!

Thank you for sharing so many great videos with us, for sure you made my year shorter and easier in some way, many of them very funny, others motivational, many people might believe that this is a channel that only talks about cars and cleaning products, but it turns out to be a channel where those of us who share this passion because of cars we are also people who talk and share topics of interest far beyond the car environment. Just wanted to take the opportunity to wish you and fellow followers best wishes for year 2021 and hopping to end with the Covid anytime soon and return to normality and socialize again with our love ones and friends.

My viewers never know which video will be next, I always want it to be a surprise! HAHA Happy new year!!

I don’t usually comment on videos, but since you brought up asking people to share their biggest take-away, I thought I would put my $.02 in. I’ve followed your channel for a couple years and I’ve followed Matt’s for a few years too, and I’ve actually met both of you in person. The biggest one for me was that there’s multiple paths to achieve success. There isn’t a definitive answer. And basically the idea of setting out to be the best of whatever you decide to do. I’m a service advisor and I want to be the best service advisor I can be. The most customers, the best relationships with my customers, and the most honest conversations with my customers, especially since there’s a general consensus that the car industry is shady and dishonest. I also really appreciate how you guys can disagree yet still have valuable and insightful conversation, I think sadly that is too rare in this day and age, as everyone seems like they have to shove their opinion down everyone else’s throat.

A lot of people have brought up how Matt always loves to tell people how much he has paid for things and that at time he would purchase or pick things off the idea that the more it costs the better it is. After hearing his story and how he grew up in a trailer it sort of makes sense to me now as I know a lot of us who grew up not being able to have something when we grow up and are now capable of obtaining these things sometimes we go a little overboard. Gives me a slightly better view on his ideas learning more about his story.

Some people (primarily the keyboard warriors) want there to be a conflict between you guys...or between different detailing companies. The fact is that there doesn't have to be conflict. You can have a difference of opinion, different styles, different focuses...and still collaborate with each other and add value to the industry and your customers/followers, etc. I love watching both of you guys (though I may follow Matt the closest). For me, it all comes back to this...a rising tide lifts all boats. The explosion of detailing products and new people becoming interested in caring for their cars and finding new passions in life is a great thing. You both contribute to this in your own ways, and I am thankful for that. Personally, I'd much rather do business with Obsessed Garage, The Rag Company and buy products from companies like P&S, Rupes, Optimum, Koch Chemie, Gtechniq, Lake Country, etc. These are companies that actually care about cars, care about their customers, care about true innovation, and they want to work with others in the industry to raise the bar...instead of just competing with them or undercutting them. I don't believe that companies like Turtle Wax, Meguiars (now owned by 3M) or Adam's value that. They are all fighting over the same piece of the pie, and they are just playing the game of copying everyone else. Take the cheap long throw polishers on the market as an example. Adam's and Maxshine are just ripping off Rupes' designs with the help of Chinese companies that use off the shelf components and assemble them as cheaply as possible by abusing cheap labor and lax environmental standards...and then sell that at a slim margin by always having a sale or discount code. Its a race to the bottom that isn't sustainable and that hurts the industry as a whole.
