'Disgusting act': Kenosha police investigating video of car salesman allegedly defacing ID

A post is going viral on Facebook and TikTok, where a Wisconsin woman says her driver's license was damaged and defaced by a car dealership in Kenosha.

This happened to me long time ago at wilde honda of waukesha. I forgot my driver license and went back to get it but the sales rep had bent and twisted my driver license to the point of I need to go get a new one. Apparently the sales rep not happy with that I refuse his offer

It does if you've ever worked at a car dealership. I did ok but I remember one meeting having to go through a list of 5 customers I didn't "close" all of them were bad credit customers that were not at all interested in the cars that we could get financing for them. Someone wants a Tahoe but the dealership can only build a deal around a Dodge stratus so I was supposed to make that sale? Get real. The mentality in these places is insane. Doesn't surprise me one bit they would screw with her license then change the name of the dealership

Buying from a big dealership will cost you way more if you don't have good enough credit and/or down payment. Plus if your credit is bad enough you simply won't be approved for a loan. You have to be pretty out of touch to not understand that.
