Ok so far I’ve replaced the float switch and the water inlet valve and the dw still continues to fill throughout the cycle and eventually starts leaking from the bottom of the door and the float well. Any clues before this 3 year old frigidaire hits the curb?

Great video- I have and old kenmore and the water kept filling even when dishwasher was off. Turning off the valve to dishwater stopped the filling. The but may be the reason why my dishwasher was gushing out with water at the bottom is due to float switch?? We replaced the door seal and it seemed to be ok when we did a light wash, but just did a full load and back to the water just pouring out during its cycle. I will have to check the float switch now! Thank you so much!

Based on the flood switch continuity test that he explains at 2.34 where he states that when the button is UP, it should not have continuity, I purchased a new switch. The new switch does not have continuity when the switch is up. Waist of money and time

Ignore this, I was likely testing the wrong contacts, there are three contacts, outer two up is on, middle and left, up is off. Go figure. No further ahead with my dishwasher constantly filling.

What about the power board if a relay is allowing power to the valve at all times? Evidence being the contacts at the valve being extremely hot and the valve humming the whole time?

Mine fills anytime the door is shut, and at the end of a cycle. If i unplug it, it doesn't do it. Or if I manually push the float switch up. So it's not the valve, and I replaced the switch but that wasn't it either. So im stumped. It seems control panel issue? Oh BTW the float moves freely. Not that either. My inlet valve is receiving constant power, would be my other guess
