Diskospondylitis in dogs is the infection of an intervertebral disk and the vertebrae sitting on either side of it. “Diskospondylitis” combines three meanings: “disko,” which refers to the intervertebral disks/cartilage cushioning the bones of the spine; “spondylo,” or vertebrae; and “itis,” meaning infection or inflammation. Large-breed male dogs are affected more than any other breed.

The Vetinary ind is about $£$€¥!!! Yes we all love our pets! They are like children, we will do anything to give them long life and happiness. But a vet won't unless you pay!!

We would love to fix pets for free. And most of us do at some point. We give away services to pets in need that deserve more than their owner can afford. We are all softies. But the reality is that everything costs money. Does the food industry “not care” because they charge you at the grocery store or at a restaurant? In your line of work, do you work for free? You say you’d do anything for pets. Would you consider saving money to be prepared to care for them? Would you consider looking into an insurance plan? Would you consider going to veterinary school (8 years of college and the debt that comes with it) so that you could care for your own pet? I hope this doesn’t come off as argumentative and is more thought provoking. I get it. You care about someone and you’re frustrated and scared when they’re not healthy. But perhaps we can find a more constructive dialogue to help you and your pet than simply going down the “vets don’t care and only want $” line of thought.
