Question: Regarding Princess and the Frog, what do you think Naveen's native language would be/be based on? I know Maldonia is a fictional country named after Maldives and Macedonia, two very different regions with a variety of languages across both of them. Naveen seems to be able to fluently speak French and English in the movie, but his native tongue seems different (I couldn't find a good translation for the foreign title of "The Frog Prince" book he says to Tia). Maybe he'd be multilingual?

I never knew Bambi had an arapaho version, nice
@skyrimwarrior2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it’s only available on VHS. You’ll have to travel to a Arapaho Reservation to try and ask nicely to watch it on home video cassette VCR. because that’s the only place you’ll be able to find the version of the original native language of Bambi.

Tarzan would be set in 1870's/1880's because of Jane's fashion (the bustle era) and they talk about how sweet supposedly queen Victoria is, it couldn't be set in 1908 because Victoria died in 1901!!! 🤷♂️ But GREAT video and GOOD research anyways!! 👏✨ Congratulations! 👏🤩🙌

Wonderful video! I have one question, or perhaps a slight suggestion if you don't want to spoil future videos - will you be including Anastasia? I ask because while it is not a Disney movie, it is very dear to my and many others' hearts, and a lot of people think of it as belonging with the rest of the Princess films. Thank you again for creating this in-depth, lovely series!
@FlamSparks2 жыл бұрын
Well, thank you so very much for your kind words, you just made my day ^^ Unfortunately, Anastasia will not make it into this list: the reason is that this series is about Disney Classics, which number very specific movies officially listed by Disney itself. Not only Anastasia does not belong in this list, but also many other movies which are still Disney, but not Classics, such as Pixar movies, to make an example. disneyanimation.com/films/

Altro giro altra corsa.

@FlamSparks2 жыл бұрын
@@archimedesno400 Mmmh...

Juste trop mignon
@FlamSparks2 жыл бұрын

@FlamSparks2 жыл бұрын
This makes me think about friend groups, or better, worlds, in which everybody knows everyone's language. Everybody just speaks their native language and everyone conversates and understands each other. … No, wait, that's our system

I'd like to raise a few points. First of all: If Elsa and Anna knew some Sami, then why were their mother's origins a mystery? Second: At the end of The Wind in the Willows feature, Toad is seen flying a plane, which dates the story to sometime after the Wright Brothers' first flight in 1903 (although according to the documentary Who Flew First?, they mightn't have succeeded until 1908). Third: Perhaps Thomas O'Malley should be singing in Irish Gaelic. Fourth: I like how in Atlantis: The Lost Empire, some of the characters seem to be having bilingual conversations. Fifth: The native language for The Princess and the Frog (which differs from The Frog Prince) is likely to be Louisiana Creole. Last of all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable video.
