I never go on Grizzly River Run without a poncho. The reason for this is one time, I got soaked. So I vowed never to go on that ride again without a poncho.

Hieroglyph - an image representing a word or syllable, like in a language (like in Egypt) Petroglyph - a rock carving, sometimes they tell a story but the pictures themselves don't represent words So yeah, the ones on GRR are actually petroglyphs!

Aesthetically speaking, one of my favorite lands. Probably an unpopular opinion, but that’s fine. My family and I usually stay in the Grand Californian and it’s so fun to enter the park into Grizzly Peak. Moving from the GC hotel into Grizzly Peak feels like a seamless transition, as far as flow and looks go. So fun!

I just want to compliment you and your humor. You remind me in a nostaglic way of several famous animal experts that were on tv in the late 90s and early-mid 2000s when I was a child. I wish I could remember who exactly as the person I'm thinking of was from around that time and looked sorta like you. But also you humor reminds me loads of Bill Nye, who ironically before I was born my parents knew for a time. In the several videos I've watched I found you remind me of these people from my childhood. While you manage to bring some nostalgic vibes back when ever listening to you and your punes or jokes. It's refreshing after long days.😉 Brings back a certain childhood merriment reminicing and such.

I'm confused about the Soarin' segment of this video. Did you film that at Epcot when you were talking about it? The reason I ask is because your history, dates and description matches that of Soarin' at Epcot, not DCA. BTW, you make these videos so fun and special. I've learned a lot from your YT channel. I never knew about the "Duck Race" at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Also, your story about the Steam Donkey was pretty cool. Great stuff! Thank you!

Grizzly Peaks is awesome! But the Grizzly Rapids ride was closed when we were there last, 2 years ago. My wife got one of the red hoodies with Smokey the Bear on the front from the shop there with that yellow car out front. A couple weeks ago we were camping at a state park and Smokey along with a bunch of Rangers were there doing a forest fire prevention presentation and my wife got a pic with him while she was wearing that hoodie. She was more excited than the kids haha.

As nouns the difference between hieroglyph and petroglyph. is that hieroglyph is an element of an ideographic (hieroglyphic) writing system while petroglyph is (archaeology) a rock carving, especially one made in prehistoric times.So that means that Chris is correct
@Luna16936 жыл бұрын
"Petroglyphs are images that are carved into rocks, while hieroglyphics are a complex Egyptian writing system that uses picture signs as writing characters. Petroglyphs existed in many cultures, from Australian Aborigines to prehistoric Scandinavians. Hieroglyphics were carved on Egyptian monuments and other materials but also were written down on papyrus. Note: The Mayan writing system is sometimes referred to as Mayan hieroglyphics. When the word hieroglyphics is used by itself, however, it generally refers to the writing system of the Egyptians." -study.com/academy/answer/what-is-the-difference-between-hieroglyphics-and-petroglyphs.html

petroglyph word comes from the Greek prefix petro-, from πέτρα petra meaning "stone", and γλύφω glýphō meaning "carve", and was originally coined in French as pétroglyphe.
