Star Wars was for everyone. In my thoughts, I came up with two reasons for people who claim it wasn't: A) they're lying or B) they're more at fault to not being welcomed into the community than they'll admit. My parents were lifelong fans of Star Wars and had me surrounded by a galaxy far, far away since I was born. I'm now 34, openly gay, and have never once felt as if anyone was pushing me out. There's one major rule of conversations and debates that so many people have forgotten as of late: - Making assumptions of people you don't know automatically nullifies anything you have to say. The issue with modern writing ,TV, film and actually, the vast majority of contemporary ideologue is it lacks all consistency. It self contradicts at almost every turn and requires a convoluted and often illogical device to explain the 'why'. Anybody with a functioning critical thought process will look at said devices and call them nonsense. When you place agenda before a creative process and inclusion before quality, the result will always be subpar. The sad part is, denial is an immensely powerful thing, though i wonder how long it can sustain modern thinking in general?

It actually makes sense that one could end up making different sexual choices based on availability, even crossing gender. This is done in prison and has been done by radical feminists in the 80s. This is because everyone has the inherent ability to swing the other way because, contrary to popular belief, whether we do gay or straight things is absolutely a choice because we control our own actions. So, yes, if only women are around, a lot more of them will swing with each other than if there were men there too because if other women are their only option, that would be preferable to them than no one. This reality just isn’t typically espoused because it undercuts the whole “immutability” argument that the alphabet community have been using to beat people over the head into accepting and normalizing their deviance, but Headland basically said the quiet part out loud through her writing, that one way to make more gay people is to limit the availability of opposite sex prospects and, of course, the other way is through grooming, which she’s trying to do through this series.

Another reason why classic media is overall declining is because of video games. Why would I watch rehash of yet another Alien movie when I can play Alien Isolation and basically live through the movie? Heck, even something like Aliens Dark Descent has atmosphere and feel from second movie (Aliens), it feels like direct continuation of that movie and is "more Aliens" then pretty much any sequel to date. Also I don't understand Disney at all. Why waste all those billions on buying Star Wars IP if you're gonna change pretty much everything about it? The issue is that she's brought HER own agenda to a world created by someone else. If she wanted Gay Star Wars, then she should have left the established canon alone and just created her own thing. Wait...nobody would want to see that because only 5% of the population cares about her sexuality and agenda. The bad writing is the eventual downfall of the series. No cast, no agenda could save the show with as bad as the writing is.

If they didn't want this show to be known as a "Queer" show, they could've easily never led with any of the marketing with it or even better in the interview strike down the rumor entirely. Will & Grace is a show that came out in the late 90s early 00s and it wasn't directly queer about its subject matter. Still, as an adult rewatching it you can tell the writers didn't want to put off a large part of the late-night audience while also telling an unconventional story... Lucas Film did not set out to do this.

I think it's worth exploring the point that Disney doesn't care about Star Wars because all it is for them is a vehicle to showcase their progressive bona fides. It's about the ESG. Disney knows that shows and movies aren't as profitable as they once were, but they offer opportunities to hire "diverse" people in a very visible way. It's not about the end consumer, it's about the backend financiers.

I think you are reading too much into it. Marika being Radagon, or Miquella the boy, being st trina in dreams etc is not necessary woke trans ideology but probably alchemy. (union of opposites etc). In the lore there also exist no sex in the lands between, people no longer reproduce or perform sexual acts (no need for virility)
