Disney ruined Marvel and now Star Wars. They are slowly ruining many great stories by adding unnecessary details to them that worsen the plot. And knowing that Disney, knowing that the sequels greatly upset fans, still decided to make a new series is absolutely disappointing. George still cares about his fans despite disagreeing with them on stuff (such as making Greedo shoot first and making Han Solo look like he is slow on the draw. That one change makes Greedo look incompetent for missing at such short range, and Han look dumb for not anticipating that Greedo's intent was to do away with him if he didn't have the money right at that moment)

first episode started off really bad, "Jedi only pull out their lightsabe when they intend to kill." um no, they use it like a flashlight fairly often and also a lot of disarming or simply defense from blaster bolts. also, they ignore time. no joke, they have an entire scene establishing that after one of the characters crashes a prison ship that they had enough time for multiple trips to and from this planet while they are at the capital and then after these many trips they save one of the leads from freezing to death when she wakes up in the ship. they treat it like these people got there shortly after she crashed. but, the other scene says, they went back to Corosant when the Jedi just left the prisoners guarded by only droids, went back to that system to get the other prisoners, took them to Corosant, then went back for her. those last 3 trips are what matter here, hyperspace journies can take hours or that many and doing things after each of them would have taken days. so this chick was unconscious for days on that ship with obvious hull breaches and she didn't freeze do death? no! they say that she shouldn't have survived but that doesn't matter. saying your plot is dumb does not excuse the stupid decision. there was also the final line that is contradicted in the first scene. the line is basically, you can't kill a jedi with blade or blaster. she killed a jedi with a throwing knife. how the Jedi wasn't smart enough to force push both knives when she threw them at bot the Jedi and a civilian. force push is one of the simplest force abilities, you can use it on 2 things in different directions because you have 2 hands. episode 1 is bad enough for lazy writing. i guess most viewers won't last till the really bad stuff, the first 2 episodes will drive them off.
