Star Wars: The Acolyte Episode 7 "Choice"
Well Episode 3 was widely considered the worst episode, so what a brilliant idea Leslye Headland had to go back and rehash that episode in another flashback!!! Brilliant writing, LMAO. This flashback was told from the Jedi perspective and half the episode was crap we had already seen, and most of what happened this episode we already knew. Even some of the shiIIs did not like the episode, some for very odd reasons however (Rocha). And it really took A LOT of digging this week to find positive commentary and reactions... I actually agree with this one. I've been watching the show...I fucking hate the show. We treat it like Mystery Science Theater and talk shit about it as we watch. I do believe you can hate something without watching it (example for me is the Twilight films) however, you shouldn't talk shit about it without watching it. This show is my Vietnam. I've seen some things man...I don't think I'm going to be ok... My point is, make informed comments and not just repeat something you heard from a video.

Every single scene will comprehend anything a a characters says in the previous scene, hypocrisy throughout the whole series. A character will say one thing and do another, and no it’s not cuz the character is selfish or learning from mistakes, they are all just flipping and doing whatever the story requires of them without any good reasoning. Let’s not get started on the editing either! My lord….. 🤢 They can’t start or end an episode without Osha getting knocked out, picked up and placed in the next scene because the main character is too boring to travel their herself 🤣

When you watch reviews and breakdowns of each episode of people and channels you respect and trust. And they are pointing out all the flaws and stupid ass decisions this show has made. I don’t think it is necessary to ever watch an episode. Because actually watching it will give Disney more views and they will think it is doing well. When you look at this as just a show and not as a Star Wars show. It is clear to see how much of a dumpster fire it is. And how it is in general a terrible show. Compared to all shows ever. With horrible writing and dialogue every step of the way. So I salute all the brave men and women who have gone down into the trenches of this parody of Star Wars and had to actually sit through this mockery of something that belongs in the trash compactor on the Death Star. The sad thing is that there are people who'll blame George Lucas for this show. Why you ask? Well, for years, OT fanatics bashed George for the various special editions of his films, as well as the prequels. Because of all the criticism against him, people believe that that's why he sold his company (it was more so for the money) and that's why we have all this Disney garbage today. Basically, these OT purists believe that if he hadn't done the prequels and special editions, we wouldn't have The Acolyte. I think that's ridiculous. I believe George might've sold his company eventually (maybe a little longer than when it happened), he just might've sold it to another company. I'd rather that 20th Century Fox (if they weren't bought by the rabid mouse) bought Lucasfilm, because at least they'd respect the property a little more.
