This song from the "Lava" short film was a perfect song for Iam. I was so glad they didnʻt expect him to do something obvious from "Moana" or "Lilo & Stitch." I was a little disappointed Iam didnʻt sing the sad, touching middle part of the song (I know, not enough time or a partner to sing the other part), which usually brings tears to many people (like me), but he went on to the happy ending which fit the mood of the evening. Hereʻs the full video for those who havenʻt seen it, and Iʻd like to give credit to the well-known and talented artists from Hawaiʻi, Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig (who is also a respected kumu hula, or master hula teacher).
