This is one of my favorite videos we've ever created BECAUSE of the cast. They were so dynamic, so much fun, and so full of what makes Disney special. I had to cut tons of footage of cast interactions for this video... there was just so much. Seriously, go ride the canoes if only to meet the cast who run it!!!!!!

Doing the canoes are some the best memories I have at the park. It is so much fun! you actually get too have cool interactions with other park guests other then standing in line, because you enter the canoes as strangers but exit as a rowing team!Especially if you over take another canoe.

I went to the canoes this past weekend and asked about cast members about dumping water every day in the river. They looked at me like i was an idiot. I felt like an idiot. They don’t actually dump water in there lol

We stan a CM just straight-up quoting a classic movie scene. Also, I love how the CMs seem to have so much freedom to enjoy the ride and use that joy to make it fun. I'd love to be a canoe CM and spend the whole day making a fool of myself and having fun.

This is a great channel. I love anything old school Disneyland related (I haven't been in 20 years!) and every Disney channel offers history of the park but I learn something new on every channel. I was watching Disney Parks videos and did a search for this because this is one of my absolute favorite attractions and I wanted to double check that it didn't close when they shortened Rivers of America. I haven't been to Disneyland since my annual pass expired in 2013 but I definitely recognize at least 2 of the cast members from back then that are still working the attraction!

I feel like a lot of people avoid doing the canoes because they're afraid it's going to be a lot of work or because it's not a thrill ride - I always avoided them for that reason as well! But now I'm really wanting to try the canoes out when the park reopens. It's looks like fun being able to go around the rivers of America from a different perspective :)

I love the Indian warrior canoes my sister told me to jump in I did ( I'm was chunky) only time I listened to her. The face on the Indian was priceless. Love Davy Crockett canoes too. Been going to Disneyland since 1962

Duke and his cousin(I can’t remember how to spell his name😫) are 2 of my favorite cast members. Along with Ken(found them from Fresh Baked) but my recent trip(last week) my mom forced us to do the canoes(she didn’t row because she was “to tired and it’s on a track” I told her it wasn’t) we had a cast member named Marcel. I really enjoy this video! I've watched it more than twice. It was nicely done. Background music and all. I really love the natural beauty of the river. My favorite land in all of Disneyland is New Orleans square. When I was younger, Tomorrowland was my favorite land. What drew me more to New Orleans Square was the music, food and especially the river bend. The canoe cast members have the hardest job in Disneyland. It's very physical, they're in direct sunlight all day and they have to keep the humor going all day long. It is a classic attraction though. I haven't ridden the canoes since I've been half my weight. Lol! I'm working hard to get back to that weight again so that I can enjoy all of the Disneyland Resort attractions again. I love your channel and please keep 'em coming!

went on the canoes for the first time when i went to disneyland in july. i made the mistake of not reapplying sunscreen before hand and it made my sunburn even worse. it was a really fun ride though!

Interesting, I don't recall the canoes being like the Jungle Cruise with the cast members having a spiel, but it has been a good while since I last went on the canoes, years in fact. Here's a bit of trivia, I don't know if they still do but they used to have cast member canoe races. Cast members from all over the park would form teams and races would be held in the mornings before the park opened. It was a lot of fun, if tiring, trying to row those canoes as fast as you can was not easy work and required a lot of coordination to do it right.
