I'm so happy that I came across your paintings and have been watching you and I love what you do, you make it so easy to fallow along, but for now I'm just observing. I too just turned 85 years old and I'm blessed that God gave me a little talent, I always wanted to learn how to paint I can draw but never tried to paint until a year ago when I tried my hand at it. You are just a spring chicken Clive! I loved the 60's, they were good years for me. 50's were even better. But 80 is also wonderful! I think it is embracing wherever you are at in life. Hugs and you stay safe too.

@@parsleypowersmith5692 I used to have that about 20 years ago Parsley, but seems to have gone away all on it's own. I think changing my diet had a great deal to do with it. It was so painful.

@@janawallace378 Oils are wonderful Jana. You may even want to try Water mixable oils. They are like acrylics only it is so much easier to blend with them. Just get White, Primary Blue, Red, Yellow, and Black. It's a great starter set to play with, and not too expensive.

You look great you might be 80 but you look way younger than that your skin always looks beautiful yeah and like you said not every day is the same beautiful and it doesn’t matter about the number. I have always been here on the first day of the month Dedgy, but at my age now, I will be here less. Just a heads up. I love doing the final touches after a painting has dried. That is when I can do things that can not be done when the painting is wet. Give it a try and put your spin on it. (You have a new name?)

@@PaintingWithYovette No I dont have a new name - personally i rarely do final touches after its dry - you have the option of limiting the amount of paint on the canvas and also using shop towels and that way you dont need to wait for it to dry

So thankful for all the things that you’re sharing with us and I know your parents are watching over you and they very proud of you in to say young woman I guess we all do stupid stuff, but we learn from that in, I’m just so happy to know that you’re doing the bike I don’t do that because I got into a really bad accident so I don’t like the bikes I walk I do exercise but I’m so happy that you do that and don’t stop please in thank you thank you so much and yes God is always with us. Hi Yovette 😊 your Painting Is very nice 😊 I would like to ask you an advice: I love Bob Ross liquid clear and liquid White, but I'm worried, because I don't know if the Paintings can yellowing in the years (I think that his products have lineseed oil), so, do you think that I can replace liquid clear with safflower oil (or puppy oil or wailnut oil) and to replace liquid White with safflower oil and Titanium White? Thanks 😊!!!

Wow, that is a great question Sylvia. But so sorry, I do not have an answer 😒 as I have not used any of them. I can tell you that my Ross products have not turned yellow that I can detect, and I started using them in the 90's. I make sure that they are not placed where any sunlight can hit them. Maybe ask an art manufacturing company that question? Hugs dear. 🌹🤗

Why doesn’t your etching get erased when you apply the first 2steps?

If you look closely Vicki, the etching does gradually fade right into the painting. What little is left does not show once the paint is done. 🤗
