This is how we spent our holiday, half sad, half hopeful, but never giving up. We just needed a distraction from the hospital. My mom had an aneurysm burst on Thanksgiving, so these next couple months are going to be rough! I have two Christmas videos, and then an update on my mother. A BIG ONE! She is still alive, but not out of the woods. Please pray for her to be weaned off the ventilator successfully. That's her next step. Thanks so much for all the support through this. Again, there will probably be one more Christmas video from Christmas day ahead, and then a big update.

Sometimes distraction can be a good thing even if it's just for a little while. I am sure the holidays were not the best for you at all, by any means. It's 2/14/14. Yes, but when youre in coma, you really dont have updates. She has started to wake up 4 days ago and right now none of the doctors or nurses are happy about it, so we're at that point right now.

Awesome arm there Rafael! What a nice shot there at the end. You should look into some sort of archery as a hobby. You live in a nice area for that, lots of woods and all. And I can't leave Abigail out. She has this look of wonder in her eyes, so beautiful. That curiosity will open up your mind to so many possibilities Abigail. The hospital staff are NOT happy about your Mom starting to wake up? Why? Cuz she's not vacating the bed quick enough for them!??! What's this country coming to! It's all about the money. So sad. Never been to BassPro and there's one in the next city over. I should remember to nip in there this holiday season to see if it's as nice as yours. Sending love and prayers. ❤❤
