I agree with Disturbed's comments, most people on the Internet are freaking out about Axl becoming a replacement singer for ACDC, while in reality he's one of the few singers who could fill the shoes of that position. But Brian will be in the studio, so it's the best of both worlds; keeping the same sound in the studio, and still being able to your with Axl

Look...we all know it's extremely sad Brian Johnson lost his hearing, God bless him. With that said... The band had dates they had already committed to and are honoring. As far as Axl is concerned I agree with Dave on this, he deserves props for stepping up and helping out fellow musicians that HE HIMSELF grew up loving and listening to. And he is doing so right before GnR's tour starts..... Much respect for that. We would all love it if in a perfect world BJ was still touring with the band, but at least they are finishing the tour and kicking ass while doing it! Rockin Roll forever!!!

Axl stepped into ac dc to help them out, it had to be quick because ac dc was under extream pressure with tour contracts and timeline and no one thinks about that. But hey, it's done, Axl blew it in your face, made Rock n Roll history and Rocked the hell out of the world with it. Now, let guns n roses make their music, ac dc make there's and then swap singers for one song each on each others tour. Now that would be a mind bender.

Brian isn't coming back, you cannot repair hearing loss, unless ACDC drastically changes their live rigs, which I doubt they'd do he cannot perform with them, the stage noise is too much, hell depending on the danger even if they eliminate all the amp noise by going with a different set up the drums and the house levels may still be too much for his little hearing that's left There is NO way to repair hearing loss the ear is not designed to be repaired damage is on a microscopic level and microscopic level surgery isn't a thing...

the problem is his existing hearing is still in danger, he can be positive all he wants to, but you cant fix hearing loss, you can get hearing aids but that doesnt fix the problem that the stage, the house, and the crowds might be too loud for him, he wore isolating in ears and the low freq sound waves on stage still damaged his hearing... low waves cant even be stopped by 8 feet thick concrete ask any sound engineer

From what I've read, Axl had to jump in so quickly so that AC/DC could finish the tour. The shows were probably sold out and the guys don't have the reputation for stiffing the fans. I didn't see anything about Axl being permanent, but who knows.

Who started the rumor that Axl replaced Brian? Tour dates were booked. Brian fell ill and couldn't finish the tour. Axl stepped in to finish the tour. People were offered refunds. Most are happy they didn't get their refund. Everyone's a winner. Brian will be back.

KZbin kept recommending this one to me. Now I know why. Great comments. I would only add ACDC only had the European tour to finish, and Axl offered to play those last ten shows. That's it, 10 shows. And then Brian would continue recording with ACDC. And of course Axl has played an ACDC cover in prob every show he's ever done. So he considers Angus and the boys as pretty much Gods

Recently saw these guys at The Rapids Theater in Niagara NY. They are a killer band live. I believe that each member is unique enough that it would not be the same without one of them. I think that is what makes these bands great. Axl Rose does have the chops to do the AC DC shows but he is not Brian Johnson. And there are people who would say Brian is not Bon Scott and they would be right except that Brian has a very good history with AC DC starting with the classic Back in Black. I think we would have to see an album written and recorded with Axl before we could judge this band in that light and I don't think that is going to happen. Rock and Roll as we have known it for the past 50 years is in the twilight of it's existence. I figure that in less than 15 years live shows will have been replaced by Virtual Reality. And it will likely seem and appear more real than reality.

the plan isn't to have Axl on a permanent basis. he volunteered to help them finish the shows so that they wouldn't have to cancel the whole tour since they would of went through legal hassle and lost out on millions.

Lost A LOT of respect for Disturbed when stated that they're against tyranny but then suggests that Hillary is a good choice. If someone were to leave Disturbed, I'd say replace them, unless it was David. Replacing Dan, John, or Mike, obviously it wouldn't ever be the same, and more than likely it won't be as good, but more than likely it will still be badass. If David were to leave though... Cut the cord, Disturbed is done. Disturbed's name was set by David's vocal style and song themes. Something no one can replace perfectly. Before David, 'Brawl' (which was Dan, Mike, & Steve (Fuzz) (original bassist)) was getting no where, just bar shows no one payed any attention to, at all. So without Dan, Mike, or John, Disturbed will live on, but not as good. Without David, Disturbed is done.

The tour was already fully sold out in pretty much every country they were going to be in which is why they had absolutely no time to waste otherwise they would have lost a lot of money, not only did Axl help them out, he did them a fucking service that no other person could have.

What was Not Mentioned here is the Fact that if ac/dc had to cancel many shows, then a Contract Dispute and it could cost Millions Of Dollars for ac/dc. very well said! I work in the industry but it amazes me that people are unable to at least realize its business. If I may add also if they wait too long the buzz goes away people return tickets and will probably not biy new ones once the tour starts again months later with another singer. Despite their super professional fast response by bringing Axel in, more than seven thousand fans returned your tickets... to me it's proof they made the right decision. I'm super happy for axle as people have been shitting at him ever since his plastic surgery went to s*** and he put on weight.
