If you want to see more of Myles, who I personally think is the best male vocalist in rock at the moment, I've got two suggestions for you from his band Alter Bridge. The first is "Blackbird" Live From Amsterdam kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIbLaYGFibxkjdU which is one of the best songs about losing someone ever written (and has one of the best guitar solos ever written in it). The second one is "Words Darker Than Their Wings" Live At The Royal Albert Hall kzbin.info/www/bejne/nIXZe2SKjrSFgMk which is just a phenomenal live performance by Myles. Both songs I'm suggesting also highlight that not only is Myles a truly amazing vocalist, he's also a really, really good guitarist as well. Also, great reaction. I like that you're able to point out technical details to people like me who aren't musically trained. Understanding what is going on in a song makes me appreciate it more, so keep up the good work.

This version with Draiman and Kennedy is an epic masterpiece. In the last stanza when Kennedy sings the words, (warning&forming), and the word( sound) in the last scream....that will raise the hair on the back of your neck, and send chills down your spine.

Myles Kennedy is a fun rabbit hole to go down. Frontman for both Alter Bridge and Slash, there are a lot of cool songs to discover. Check out his acoustic version of Watch Over You (billboard) to really appreciate that head voice. And if you want to get a feel of his range, Royal Albert Hall (with full orchestra) “Words Darker Than Their Wings.” Both absolute masterpieces.

Myles is extraordinary. Check out Alter Bridge. He also did solo albums. It's difficult to suggest a song to encapsulate his talent. Start with Blackbird then you'll see.

Myles started his career making some sessions with Led Zeppelin, but nobody ever heard what they done together. He also appeared on Rock Star movie at the end of the movie (it's featured by very BIG names such as Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), Jeff Pilson (Dokken), Jason Bonham (son of the late John Bonham) and Jennifer Aniston and Mark Wahlberg as protagonists). In that movie there are A LOT of professional musicians and singers.. Jeff Scott Soto and Mike Matjievic are the voices of the singers in the movie. After that movie, Myles started singing some sessions such for Fozzy and Sevendust. He then started to play with Mark Tremonti (who was in the studio playing some songs for Fozzy) and the rest of Creed guys. Alter Bridge are active and now they've done 7 studio albums and 4 live albums. At The same time, Slash from Guns N'Roses in 2010 called him to sing a couple of songs in his solo album (simply called Slash) and he was also looking for a singer for his upcoming tour and Slash heard tons of cool stories about Myles. The thing that made me smile was, when Slash met Myles the very 1st time, he asked him "how was working for Led Zeppelin?" He's also a phenomenal guitar player... go to see his 1st live performance when he was young... he's impressive.

If wanna react to more Myles Kennedy, I suggest you "Find The Real", "Blackbird", "Words Are Darker Than Their Wings" by Alter Bridge, and "Year Of The Tiger", by Myles himself. He's one of the best rock/metal singers during the last, I don't know, 15 years, and he works with Slash in another band as well. I could go on, but I think you got the picture. LOL!

Myles is the lead vocalist for Alter Bridge. I *think* Alter Bridge is the reincarnation of Creed - after some personnel changes. One of my favorite Alter Bridge songs is Rise Today. Listen to that for a good example of what Myles can do!

Myles Kennedy is the lead singer for the band Alter Bridge. He also sings for Slash. Check out Alter Bridge, they just released their 7th album called Pawns and Kings a few months ago. They released 5 of the songs as video singles on KZbin and all are awesome. You should do a reaction to them, you won't be disappointed, they are one of the best bands for the last 18 yrs.

Thank you for this amazing reaction. Knowing the kind of artist Myles is, I'm sure it was intentional for him to keep his voice a bit lower in the mix. He's a very unselfish performer and does what serves the song best not himself. Note that he also dips under Draimon"s voice for the "Neon Gods" line so that Draimon's gritty bellow can take centre stage in that moment. For me, Myles is the best rock vocalist on the planet today, I don't know of any rock vocalist with better technique. As a younger singer in his abnd The Mayfield Four, Myles used more distortion which was in line with what grunge vocalists of the late 90s were doing but he was also a big fan of r & b and singers and he was influenced by the likes of Stevie Wonder and Jeff Buckley. After receiving some vocal training, Myles made the choice in his mid 20s to embrace his natural tenor voice and start singing clean notes and diligently practice good technique in order to preserve his vocal chords and prolong his career. His trademark is the high soaring vocals, sustained high notes and his rich warm timbre and even at 52, he's able to do it all. His breath support is phenomenal and those insane high notes just float out effortlessly, no doubt that as a result of studying Bell Canto. Another interesting fact: Myles has suffered from tinnitus for most of his professional career as a result of hearing damage. At it's onset, he considered quitting and going back to teaching guitar. Luckily for all of us that he didn't! and he also happens to be a really nice dude.

I would say if you really want to find out more about Myles I think "Alter Bridge Words Darker Than Their Wings Live at Royal Albert Hall" is the special one. That's his strongest performance to a point where I can't even listen to the album version.

Disturbed was doing their sound check the day of the concert when they thought to ask Myles to join them, so they had very little time to rehearse.
