Elvis had many medical issues that were inherited. He also had a traumatic brain injury which added to the disorders he inherited. The more I read and researched about the man, the sadder the story became.. My Mom was a huge Elvis fan and was devastated when he died (I was too young to understand why, but now I do). Adding to his medical issues was of course, the fact that his management pressured him to perform no matter what..he even collapsed backstage once before a show, and instead of rushing him to the ER, they shot him up with amphetamines to keep him going. Doctors kept prescribing all sorts of pain meds instead of addressing the causes of the pain. Absolutely tragic life story. I adore his voice and his performances on video, and admire how hard he worked for his fans, and his tremendous generosity to his loved ones and fans. RIP ELVIS 💔🙏

I can’t believe this! Elvis was a little heavy on his last concert. Just 6 weeks before his death. But by all means not 300 something!!! He was so dynamic, singing to his fullest, joking, dancing! He looked sad and tired. But, his performance and his voice never failed him. And like Ginger said, he just looked like a handsome 42 years young man!! Stop it for God’s sake! That is very disrespectful towards the person who made history with his work and gave all his life to please everybody. A beautiful soul full of kindness and generosity. He was not prefect. Glaucoma is fairly common especially in the elderly. Did the book mention anything about kidney abnormalities or diabetes, or low testosterone? I know of a branch of (now distanced) in-laws where all those issues occurred in several family members and several males were dx Aspergers / Austistic spectrum also. The trend was that as infants they had low birth weight and very thin bodies til 20s. Poor eaters / very selective eaters: gorging on certain food items: unbalanced diet. All ballooned by mid 30 years. Males especially. Females tried harder to diet to curb weight gain. At age 40 two male relatives known to me followed the trend of ballooning to around 170kg. Sleep apnoea another trait in common.

Elvis died of CHF(Congestive Heart Failure)...... The sudden weight gain was NOT from fat, it was from retaining water. His constipation and "twisted" colon was the result of retaining water as well as high blood pressure, sight problems and everything else that happens to the body when one retains so much water that it literally drowns and swells your organs to the point that they no longer function properly. They didn't call Elvis' condition CHF back then but if he was diagnosed today, they would definitely be calling it CHF. It's a slow progressive painful death. For anyone who disagrees with what I'm saying, go ahead, look up CHF and you will see that Elvis was NOT overweight because of fat but rather, it was because of WATER retention!

@@thehiltongirl You KNOW that's not what they're saying! Stop being a drama...Karen...Queen. She's just saying to stop dragging up old, potentially embarrassing news about him in the News. He was human, like the rest of us. He DID have problems. Otherwise he wouldn't have refused to have a sexual relationship with Priscilla after she had their baby...because "she's a mother now." The fame definitely went to his head...due to the "power" and control he had over people. What Elvis said...WENT. Period. Priscilla has said that he controlled pretty much everything about her. Her hair...how she wore it...the color...all of it. He made her dye her hair jet black...just like he did. He controlled what she wore. He controlled where she went...AND if she even Got to leave and go somewhere. He controlled what and how much she ate. Her, and ALL his "people" stayed up all night, and slept all day. She said that he would sometimes make it pitch black in their bedroom, and stay inside for 2-3 days at a time...taking pills to sleep...and she would HAVE to do the same thing. He constantly ran around on her...and also would go out and party with his "guys" and leave her home. She had no real friends of her own. I would have literally HATED that life. Awful! THEN he refused to sleep with her and have a sexual relationship with her anymore, after their daughter was born...stating that she was now a mother, and he couldn't have a sexual relationship with a mother. Sooo...she ended up finally having an affair with her karate instructor. Can you Blame her? THAT was his fault! When he found out, he was going to kill him he said. What a Narcissist! Elvis had too much money and power that came with his fame. Too many "Yes" people around him. He took Way too many pills like hydrocodone and Codeine type meds. Those kind of meds. will slow down...even stop the colon from working properly. That's why he had such constipation problems. The colon problems are what actually made him have the "heart attack." He was straining to have a b.m. and it actually will make a person have an M.I. Look it up. Elvis needed more people around him willing to tell him the Truth...But he didn't have that. They all knew that if they really Did that...he'd just fire them. So, they didn't. Too bad. You notice he never did get married again. Engaged?...Sure. But they all left him. All but Ginger. But she would have left sooner or later. Esp. if she would have ever wanted a child after they married. He would have stopped having sex with her too then. GREAT singer. In the book "The death of Elvis; what really happened", there's a chapter called "The Autopsy" where they were dissecting his colon and found it to be completely clogged with a "chaulky white fecal matter" that couldn't be cut even with their sharpest scalpel. It was obvious that Elvis was severely constipated due to all the drugs he injested and couldn't have a bowel movement for weeks, possibly even months. And if you watch his last televised concert when he sat down at the piano to sing Unchained Melody, you can tell his intestinal pressure was too much to bear.

Corrected the stroke damage but immediately bled out due to the blood coming out the sutures. Terrible. I've decided to just live with whatever comes my way.
