This looks delicious and I can just imagine how it smells. My one note is that the pinch of salt in the frosting doesn't reduce the sweetness, it intensifies it. Beyond that, this looks like a great recipe.

Very very delicious cake! I had to substitute the all purpose flour with wheat flour per doctor's orders and it was still delicious. My family can eat whatever they want and gobbled down my wheat strawberry cake😢.... we all love it. We appreciate you!

I'm searching for a good recipe to bake for my sweet husband. We are elderly so I don't want to cook this and that for the cake, then cook again some more puree for jam for the filling like one lady had us doing. You're beautiful recipe fits the bill. It's easy and yet looks like full of flavor. I want it to taste yummy but I cannot stand for long periods of time so I'm using this recipe as it seems yummy and not too difficult.
