Yeah.. good ol’ AI lol doesn’t make sense and sounds exactly like what AI would write. I’m not a big AI hater, but I do hate when people have AI write stories and books for them completely to publish them or make money from. They didn’t write it, it’s not their work and the ones that submit AI writings to publishers are even worse. They put no effort or work into it and intend to make money off it. They are usually thrown out when the publisher spots them, but it takes time and makes it harder for real writers to make it and get published. Anyway, I enjoyed the video, you two are always great and make me laugh. Thanks!

@ True, but think how much worse it would be if half of them were written by AI. But also, even big book releases these days, that sell millions, like the ones hyped up on “booktok” are pretty awful. Adults in America on average are at a 6th grade reading level and it shows, at least by what books seem to sell well. I watch a lot of reviews and the writing and story telling in most of these books astounds me, and they’re popular? It’s a little depressing.

Because it certainly seems like it, the way the story suddenly ends, and how the other story is remarkable similar to the first and then merges the two, the way it describes randomly how the man was feeling, is exactly like AI, using the exact same language it always does when telling a story. I’d wager I know much more than you, as I’ve read nearly 100 of them, probably more, since it’s part of my job. Why do you think it isn’t AI?

Some people and particularly content creators have issues with AI because it's trained using content that the owners didn't agree to be used for that purpose. It's arguably a complex form of plaigerism.

Content creators is way too specific to say they learnt off it or directly plagurises it. It no more does it than a human interested in the subject. Its kinda pointless demonising based on that because if anything having ai generated commentary content sticks out like a sore thumb making human content creators able to create more engaging content

Sure some people and content creators do have issues with AI for the reason you state, but that has nothing to do with why people commenting on the videos would say they don't like it. AI just isn't as good at making a video (yet?) as a human and it shows. It makes for a bad viewing experience. Gus/Woody have often pointed this out themselves when reacting to videos. If AI improves to the point people can't tell it made the video than viewers won't care at all. Probably most importantly because they wouldn't know it was AI, but almost as importantly because they don't really care. They just want to be entertained.

The bad part about AI stories is that many of them are made up, not just the details, but altogether the story, and it's presented as the real thing. Not all stories are gonna be fake, but just some is already too many.

Crazy idea here. But why isn't there a "panic/emergency" beacon, that one could activate if one gets lost/stuck or something? Would make getting help in time much easier if the help could then just follow the beacon/beep/signal to find the person(s) in need. Anyway keep up the great work. I am not 100% but I think that would be hard. No signal can go in caves since it can't penetrate the rock. Most signals go threw satellite which out of the question in caves. And the beep would maybe even make things harder since locating where sound come from is really hard and since the cave left of you for example can take hours to swim to even tho it sounds close. I am not a cave diver and I am not sure how sounds travels in a underwater cave but I would assume it's even harder then above water.

​@loona7740 yeah they've talked about that b4 and those were basically the reasons why. Personally, I think an option that hasn't been talked about is using seismometers. I mean the technology for detecting vibrations in the earth is so advanced now. You get 3 of them and you can pin point where the vibration is coming from. This includes depth. I suppose you would need to carry a device to bzzzt in a clear pattern. And the diver would need training on safe placement. Maybe they could even rub some rocks really hard? Maybe use their diving knife to scrape or for their heart if it's too late. It is maybe not so practical but I believe that the science makes it possible.

Most AIs are trained with content from things like KZbin videos, for which the developer pays KZbin, but then KZbin doesn't pay that through to the original creator, which is a bit scummy imo. A lot of artists also view AI art generators as art theft, because it's unclear how much is recycled bits and pieces of others' art and what is learned. Personally, videos that are made using entirely AI strike me as lazy, so I don't want to reward laziness, and I find most AI voice synthesizers very annoying (possibly because the same ones appear so often and they read everything the same way and it's just grating). I don't mind people using AI as a tool to help in the creative process, but there needs to be more transparency and accountability from tech CEOs as well as fewer people relying on AI to do all the work for them.

I enjoy watching yall and I’m not a fan of MrDeified either, but I feel like when yall watch videos like this you go into it trying to find stuff to talk crap about. At the beginning of story 2 he was clearly listing things the guy had accomplished when he mentioned the Andrea Doria. The sentence directly following it said something like “believe it or not this isn’t even a full list of his accomplishments”. You didn’t hear that part because you were talking over it, then preceded to act like he’s just bouncing around between different stories. And in the first story, yeah the end was abrupt and not good writing but he clearly said they found his body stuck in the cave 3 years later. It’s not a good look when you repeatedly slam him for stuff that you just didn’t catch, it’s like you’re trying to bully the guy. There are plenty of awful channels out there that are 100% AI from the writing to the narration, that do zero research and get countless facts wrong. Those kinds of channels deserve to be publicly roasted. But this is just another guy like yourselves trying to make content he cares about on KZbin. You guys are great, and I really enjoy most of your videos. But I’m not a fan when you watch other creators’ content specifically to point out errors or attack the quality. If they aren’t putting people in danger by promoting dangerous dive habits, then they aren’t really hurting anyone. Your other videos serve a purpose, they benefit the entire diving community by helping people be safer. These videos just seem like bashing channels for not being as qualified as yall are. No disrespect, I say this only because I’m probably not the only person that feels this way. And it could turn new viewers off to a channel that really could benefit them.

If you need AI to put your script together for the whole project, narration, photos, pictures, videos. You shouldn't be making content because it takes the personality out of and just plain no entertainment. Now, if you use it to help elevate your content while still putting in your own flair, it's an incredible tool, but it's a big difference between the two.

It can't be an AI voice track; AI would be able to pronounce 'Font Estramar'. I guess he really does talk that way, and clearly never did French at school. Lea Blvd is in Delaware. The first incident with Jean Claude Guar was in 1955, so equipment would have been basic. So like you say, not the worst stories ever, just the worst told stories ever.

One thing I've always wondered on these videos is the cause of death is always drowning but wouldn't it be suffocation if they ran out of air? Or is it that in almost every case they run out of air they remove their mouth piece and attempt to breathe water? Is that the instruction manual for Castelvania on NES? I used to read that thing while on the toilet for years. Good to see the cave level is being properly explored. I’d bet the Belmonts would dive rebreathers.
