@@mikhailskvoznyak5551 yeah he did, after his second fight Gabriel goes to the moon and reflects for a while and comes to regret all the horrible things he did in God’s name. A God that had left them a long time ago, and he was blindly carrying out a corrupt council’s agenda. So he decided the best thing he could do for true repentance was to free heaven of the council, so he returns and kills all the councilors. (I do believe he was on the moon because the place he’s in does not look like it has seen any war, and I do think it was confirmed but I don’t remember, and also in Dante’s paradiso earths moon is shown to be one of the layers of heaven)

Taking it away would be equivalent to ripping someone's heart out. The fact that he instead becomes more powerful makes me think that the father's light might not even be real and the whole thing about him dying in 24 hours is just a lie made up by the council so that they can control him. But hey, that's just a theory, a GAAAMEE THEOOORYYYY!!!

I love Gabriel's body language, The MOMENT he hears his punishments, he's in shock, you can see him trembling, terrified of it, losing something that defines his purpose, and himself to a degree. This is so freaking cool, the agony in Gabriel's voice as the light is stripped from him and the twisting of the Lord's Prayer by the council, turning it into something awfully sinister... The VAs were excellent. Just excellent. They did a splendid job as Gabriel and the Council Members. Out of curiosity...if you are going to animate the next Council Scene (the one at the end of act 2) which lines will you use, or will you make your own? There's Gianni's own personal voice acting where he took the lines of Gabriel and the councillers, or the lines he did for Max0r's video...or perhaps you have your own version in mind. Whatever it may be, it's sure to be incredibly good. Freaking S class.

I love your animation but there’s just one small thing I noticed and I’d like to point out. At around 1:44 where he’s getting up, for some reason his arms and knees keep clipping through the floor, and his hand even goes through his leg at one point. I think it would look more impactful if he tries to lift himself up from the floor but fails a bit, showing how weak his current state is. A solid contact with the floor is crucial when expressing this. Overall great animation, I’m just picking out the one thing that doesn’t sit right with me
