Amazing Mass this morning and amazing few days at the National Shrine. My heart is so full. Father Chris, for many more years than I choose to acknowledge, my 1970s high school religion teacher, a sister of Saint Joseph, explained the miracles of Jesus feeding of the multitudes by comparing it to Woodstock. “ everyone shared whatever he had” she taught. It was not until I met the Marians that I understood miracles. I love the way you further explained the role of disciples’/our role, the mass, etc. .On another note, I must say that the shrine holy water must be very powerful because while I was passing through security at the Albany airport, it set my bag off for a secondary search. God bless you, father Chris thank you so much for your ministry. It is inimitable. Finally offering prayers for the repose of the soul of your HS friend. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS. Continuing to urge my fellow parishioners to attend the Immaculate Conception movie. As St Gabriel’s we are actually posting the flyer on the big screen in the church before MASS. This big mouth will do her best to talk it up.

We are so confident when Jesus is present and acts to save us body and soul. Nothing can truly satisfy our hunger and thirst except Him in Holy Communion. We must strive that our minds, hearts and souls are free from anything that disconnect us from Him. Thanks to you, Fr. Christ and all the priests in the world, your holy service in the church provides for us the needed sacraments to receive Jesus. Father, I offer up this mass for my family, for those that are on my prayer list, in the silence of my heart, and all intentions on my prayer board. Soften the hardest of hearts. Ephphatha, thy eyes and ears to our hearts to the blessings of the Eucharist. I pray for world peace, all your children, and sinners throughout the world; that we listen to our wake-up calls. Virgin Mother, cover us with your mantle, protect us from Satan, his evil spirits, demons, and dispatch your legion of angels, saints, and martyrs to defend us in battle each and every day. May the Holy Spirit rain down from heaven as tongues of fire and enlighten us with common sense, wisdom, fill us with courage and strength. Kindle within each of us the grace of thy flame of love so we may be able to do God's will. All Glory to God alone. Thank you, God our Father, for hearing and answering all our prayers. I wonder why Father Chris always does his readings and prayers in a monotone, mechanical or robotic way. Maybe he thinks because of the content it makes it more serious, but I wish he would speak them in his normal tone and cadence.
