I currently have the pixel 4 XL and one issue I have with this phone let's say I have it at max volume I'm running video on full brightness or a high brightness can I get a phone call in or something you know with another ringtone or thing popping in my phone will shut down and restart and then that issue will repeat itself until I plug it back into the wall no matter what battery power I have in the phone I've had it at low battery which I thought maybe that was it but no I've had it at medium battery and I've had it at a like 75% battery does anybody know the issue to this

Seems like a brain tissue issue

@DustyVid You might submit the following question to Pixel's Help Community: When watching videos at full brightness and maximum volume on my Pixel 4 XL, unanticipated incoming calls will cause the phone to not just crash but instead the phone fully reboots. Would adjusting the Adaptive Brightness setting be a possible remedy? Are there other recommended solutions for the issue?

@@Eeveewashere first thing I don't use adaptive brightness I pick my brightness so it stays that stays stable it usually put in a 70 to 80 range and I had a previous pixel same exact problem it seemed like after it was a year old or 2 years old that this bug seems to occur so I don't know if the soldering comes loose somewhere but it's got to be something to do with the internal the phone with the external features of the phone because it's definitely not a hard correlation to battery percentage. This is why I've never gone to the different chats or even bothering with Google on this because this is a manufacturing issue that occurs after warranty basically and I don't care if you buy extended service plan the most are going to do is swap you out for another used phone which I've done before and after a little while that use phone has the same exact problem so I've had this pixel 4 XL since it came out you're right now what we're on Pixel 9 although I love to upgrade I don't have the ability to for multiple different reasons but this particular bug is annoying but the easiest answer like I put in my previous statement was plug it into a wall outlet less than a minute the bug is fixed and then it takes a while before the bug happens againso this bug is somewhere between hardware software and those are the key features that it seems to be related around are volume maybe a spike in the usage of the battery system that occurs and then it kicks off a shut off reboot but I don't think any of Google's testers have bothered to deal with this issue cuz this issue is going to be somewhere inside the phone we're just can't be simply fixed through a software issue even though a software issue could possibly fix it but that software issue would have to be constantly looking for power spikes I believe in order to correct the problem I do thank you for your advice what's this I've had this in two different pixel models I know for a fact it most likely will not be fixed I think the other model is the pixel 2 XL or whatever the high-end model of the number two was I don't remember it's been awhile took my phone and tested it and could see what was going on I would let him do it I'd say let me borrow a different phone for a month and you go right on to test this phone 50 different ways to Sunday and watch what happens but I know that won't happen but thank you
