@NorCal Rider oh they have something like that. It's called Sharia. The pursuit of happiness applys more to men while women are seen as property. Even in the afterlife women automatically get their virginity back and have to be one of 72 virgins that serve a man. That is if you make it to heaven.. there are allot of sins in Islam.

Muhammad, their prophet, married a 6 year old. He "Thighed" her until she was 9. At that point she was deemed a "woman" and he consummated the marriage. There is a ceremony performed for Muslim girls at age 9 (enmasse if numerous) where they are pronounced publicly to be women. At this point they can be sold off for marriage. Used to pay a debt most likely. It can be Uncles, or other close family members. Sharia Law is barbaric.

Good luck with that.... But scary thing is they apparently have 2 elected members. I truly don't see them getting anywhere near to their goal. But I am baffled by any person regardless of religion that sees Sharia as anything other than sickening. Even the fact that we have Sharia councils in the UK, don't know of any here in Scotland, possibly there are one or two. But definitely in England. I watched documentary on Sharia councils in London & Birmingham. Mainly woman trying to get an Islamic divorce. And those in charge were literally asking stuff like, did he beat you because your cooking was not good enough!!! Or did he only beat you once, or not hard!! WTF. Rach_xx. Well, what could I say to you to explain and put into words all that insanity and irrational madness invading the entire 🌎 world these day. Could someone explain the amazing power of some expansionist military-politic Ideology powered and fueled by religion ?! ..That is what Islam is all about; its goal of globally dominance is the main theme and core belief in the whole Qur'an and avery single Muslim believer is encouraged and motivated to get that job done, through the teachings of the Qur'an itself. There's a sad and a trgic side in all that. The sad side is that the liberal media and liberal-progressive-left leaning people, together wit the Socialist Democrat party with their liberal value system agenda, have come to be very helpful hand for the aggressive expansionist ideology in Islam. If you see what liberals stand for; pro diversity, pro 'equality', pro globalism, pro open-borders: all that stuff is CLEARLY helping the Islamic world purposes. The sad thing is ..they WILL prevail; they will have that done. The Bible being a prophetic book propheticed that some global government under one person will be rule the entire world. That prophecy is in Revelation, the last book in the Bible. That leader will be so barbaric and brutal that Adolf Hitler would pass like angel beside him. That man will identify all people in the forehead or arm: without that ID you can't buy or sell; ISIS and Islamic Shariah Law fits PERFECTLY that kind of global government. So being a born Christian myself, I firmly believe that we are, no only in dangerous days, but also we are witnessing the Bible prophecies being fulfilled in front of our very eyes. I also believe, as born again Christian, and according the the Bible promises; I'll no be here when that happens: thanks God for that !

Really, what would you do? Go over there and give him a piece of your mind? Go over there and beat him up? Or maybe call the police? Personally, I don't think all men in that country treat their wives that way.and the truth of the matter is, no matter what the culture, women have one thing that gives them power. And that's universal my friend. But then you're dealing with human emotion and love and hate. And both men and women manipulative and cruel. There are men as well as women who will walk all over someone that treats them right and worship the ground of someone that treats them like shit. I think there must be some kind of correlation between relation power dynamics, sexual tension and sexual excitement that draws these types to each other. I've seen it too many times here in the states with American people. Watching people trapped in this cycle is like watching a movie and you hope you don't get cast in the movie. Nine times out of ten the abused ends up going back

No. This is a reflection of divorce in Islam. All Muslim communities treat marriage and divorce differently and this film shows cases representative of Divorce in this court in Tehran in the 1990s. Even this can be discussed further and Mir-Hosseini and Longinotto chose these cases out of the ~20 cases they reported filming.

Maybe you already know the truth but you are misguided, Allah says in the quran : فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ فَزَادَهُمُ اللَّهُ مَرَضًا وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكْذِبُونَ , english : “In their hearts is disease, so Allah has increased their disease; and for them is a painful punishment because they [habitually] used to lie.” explanation : A disease in the religion, not a physical disease. They are the hypocrites and the disease is the doubt that they brought to Islam. ‘And Allah has increased their disease’ means, increased them in their shameful behavior.” Here, Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala tells us another trait of the hypocrites (munafiqeen) that their hearts are full of desires, worldly plans, and doubts about Deen. Their disease of lust has been increased because they did not worry about it or sought treatment for it. they plan but Allah is the best of planners. here is a free quick and correct lesson on islam for you.

@Follower of The Way i as a muslim say that you lie,,According to islam a 9 year old is not fitt for marriage,,marriage is permissable when the girl reaches maturity,,both fysical and mentall,,and no sane parent would marry hes or her 9 year old child.. This is today but if we look back then this was a naturall thing to do because you had to mature earlier because of that times way of life,, a 14 year old could be master of hes house then,,if you look att history youl see that upp untill late 1800 ppl in europe (christians) was marrying at the age off 8,, even today you find places like some states in usa where marriage is permissable att the age of 12... you find places in africa where they cut the woman clitoris (christian country). early 1900 women couldnt be a priest. today a gay man can be preast early 1900 women in all europe had veils around their head,,today only nuns has it.. As time changes so does also ppl and their moral compas. when it commes to muhammad,,some text says she was 9,, some says she was 18 and some say that she was a young woman but funny enough generally speaking christians seams to be stuck in the 6 year ols aisha but forgets that mary the mother of jesus was raped by god the father and the holy ghost when she was 10 and married to joseph ( 90 ) when she was 11 and was pregnant.

Don't act as if Europeans haven't gone through this through history. I am not defending this, i am saying put it all into context. their culture is also evolving, just at a different pace and etc. Things are changing. And stop blaming islam ( I am not a muslim), as if Christianity has a clean record through out history. Lets seek to understand and be objective not be abrupt in our judgement. Thank goodness someone called it. All these men know what's up when it comes to how the two parties are viewed in a divorce. The man can marry again, no problem but the woman.... Great documentary!

You have no idea. When ancient Babylon ruled and also at the time when the Apostle Paul started his ministry, women along these regions were extremely promiscuous and sexually free. Some or many even participated in public orgies. Look at the yoke that has fallen on them from YHWH God.

I admired the temperament of the Judge and his compassion in spite of my views of Islam. The little girl imitating the judge was very bright. A little treasure.

don whitmire. 'Judge compassion' ..what are you talking about !! Is no compassion for women in Islam !! Islam is a religion machista favoring men over women. Your liberal value system make you blind to the reality !! 👺🔨🔨🔨🔨

This makes me so happy and proud to be born in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! I wouldn't last a day in the shoes of these women they are so strong and brave to endure the treatment they receive from the men of there country and culture! I will not speak poorly on Islam because I think everyone in the west thinks that Islam the religion is evil and that just isn't true. True Muslims are God fearing peaceful people. And no I am not a Muslim, nor am I religious. I believe in spirituality not organized religion.
