if this helps any of one Happy Birds friends I suggest using one of those large black wide nail files so you can find tune the edges. You can pick them up at Sally's Beauty Supply. It just gives it a little bit more of a finish if you care about those types of things! Isn't She Wonderful?! I just love her patience and her attention to detail as she explains everything!

You really have great art projects. One of my favorites is the FAIRY DOOR. I have a dear friend who collects Fairies and I even sent away to Japan or China to get the paper fairies. I can't wait to make it and see her open it. Keep those ideas coming!

Another use for the fairy doors is to put them around your property and have the littles stroll through the gardens to find them. The adults can teach names of trees and plants while doing so. We did this at an estate arboretum in Orlando, FL. Now I am having a ridiculously good time making these doors for our eight little granddaughters lol. Thank you mega much Happy Bird :) And what else prompted me was when recently, in Virginia, our little 3 y.o .granddaughter watched her first snowflakes falling from the sky and she quietly said.... "And then, the fairies come."

Thank you for this beautiful project, I love it. Made 3 last night. I found that if you use scotch tape across your sticks and tape them to the table you can put the cross sticks across without them moving , then when glue dries pull the tape off.

Adorable!!! I always sprinkle glitter over paper plates, one for each color. Then you can set the plates aside to add back in container later.

Loved the fairy doors . In a previous video using the fairy cupcake toppers, I ordered some, great guality. Want to tell you I'm one of these people that has to pick stuff apart, just to check it out. HINT.... after you pull out the toothpick, and fussy cut , carefully slide your finger nail or a needle tool separate the layers!! Easy to do, now you have two, mirror images. I used a thin needle stuck on the backs not punching a hole, then used the triple thick and glitter, allow to dry. Then used my double stick tape to use. I didn't make a door but put one of the fairy (half) inside a fairy house, then the other (half) I nesseled up in a tree branch. I live on a very extremely tight income, and to buy craft items is a treat for me, so I tend be try to make them stretch. Love all your projects, thank you.

The Art of Mary Cecile Barkers Fairy’s can sometimes be found on gift bags for sale in Dollar Stores. There are a paper dolls on Amazon. This is really cute craft .I wouldn’t have thought to repurpose the flowers by taking them apart and combining them differently . Be careful with the wire in florals from China. I do Memorial Day Arrangements and I ended up at the ER because I accidentally poked my thumb with a wire. It wasn’t even bigger than a straight pin but it caused a serious infection known as Cellulitis. It swelled within a few hours . The physician asked if the flower was from the dollar tree but actually I buy them from a Craft Store. I was informed that China isn’t too careful about what they make or put in their wire. Just a word of warning to save a trip to the ER.
