Good work. I purchased the street legal version that has all the wires at the back with connectors. I may consider this mod as I have deleted the rear taillight assembly, going exclusively off-road. Thank you for the idea.

Are you not able to use the 12v n ground thats already used for the stock light n just run the signal wire to the new light ?
