DIY BROKEN RAZOR E100 SCOOTER FIX AND UPGRADE

Upgrading Razor E100 scooter to more stable and longer battery life using lithium battery and upgrade the 4 in tire to bigger 6 in tire. Replaced broken speed controller.

I dont know if you know this but e100 is a kick to start.. probably why it didn't work on the bench .

I done this exact mod to my e100 and I fitted it with to larger batteries as well now it needs more power

Awesome video... How did you know WHERE to cut off the sprocket mount from the original hard rear wheel so the 6" wheel would be properly aligned when assembled and re-installed?? Are there any tricks to this mod? I have picked up a another e100 for parts and this is the first thing I am going to do with it...

I just cut 0.5in think and add long screw. You can use wood just to attached the gear mine i used the old wheels. It should be balance for all 4 screw if not the chain will comeout...

For me its just trial and error. I cut all the way and make sure its straight.

Hi did you deal with bearings and an axle for the rear 6” wheel? The original plastic wheel axle is longer +smaller in diameter as well as the bearings.

I have a dumb question in replacing the batteries how do i hook up reset switch? Do i use red from one battery and black from the other?

Usually its color coded..just follow the previous wire. I used different controller

I used 350W 24V controller you can purchsed in amazon or ebay. If you gonna upgrade the motor be sure its the right voltage
