I adore your kids! I’m 76 and to see your kids work like we did as kids. We were farmers, but work ethic is the same. Your kids are so involved. Makes me proud watching you guys with your kids doing stuff that you love! Seeing good families do things together shows me that America will be in good hands showing kindness, empathy, love and showing they can do great things and can do it all being barefoot!!! Lololol I did a whole lot barefoot too!!!! There’s nothing like feeling Mother Earth on your feet. Yeah Sqeezie!!! 😂🥰Love you guys. Love your videos!!!!! Love to see WAWA play her piano! 👍👍👍👍👍This is the video I wait all week for!

I could not agree more with this gentleman and my young life was just the same. What we ate was right in the ground where we lived in NJ. Organic was not the name as it was NORMAL FOOD. We never ate dumpster food like today. No way.

What a terrific video-The rich dialogue between Josh and Marge throuout the etire process. Wa working on her own car, tackling the most sophisticated and tedious part (carburetor). Approching a challenge=courage. Overcoming adversity=self confidence. Probably the most touching part of the video was Marge counseling Wa to pay attention to ihow it comes apart so she can gat it back together. An incredible mother/daughter moment. Squeeze being shown an additional way of expressing her passion for painting. Ralphies showing his design engineering skills with his trike that he made from scratch. Then there's the absolutely inimitable : " ...or at the local shopping malll - Priceless.

. cotter pins are inserted through a bolt hole then bent into shape , split pins are inserted into a hole and bent during instalation . as well as that in the u.k cotter pins are wedge shaped and used to lock push bike pedal cranks . there are more differences but it would take ages to describe them .split pins are normally made of harder metals for instance.

That rust stuff seems like liquid Naval Jelly. Happy to see you paying attention to the details & makin your ride look Sweet. I actually like the patina look, yet not for underneath. Back before it was cool, i ran my biz with 4 Dodge Tradesman vans. I found the ugliest ones i could find & mechanically it was tip top. Everybody always said to me, make your vans look as well as you keep it up. My answer was , Who is gonna steal an ugly old van ? Nobody ever touched my stuff all thru the 80's & 90's. Nowadays, they'd be all over it. Showing how times change. You got kids, sure you get it. Ty for taking us along

For a good time, try stuffing long tube headers into a V8 1968 Barracuda in a gravel driveway by yourself with a floor jack with a dual exhaust while also replacing a 904 with a 727 trans. Much joy doing that. Just to get the headers in you had to disconnect the steering linkage and to change the starter you had to drop the exhaust and header out. Tons of fun. I had to use jack stands, 4 inch blocks, ratchet straps, and lord knows what else. Then had to drag the old trans out with a chain attached to another car because my skinny butt could not wrestle it out laying on my back. Good times.

Love your videos brings me back to a time when my dad and I had to work on our cars. We had a 61 Corvair wagon which we had to change the trans-axel in several times. Not a good vehicle for Michigan use, it was great in the snow but the heater was awful having to keep an ice scraper in the front seat so you could see the road. Please keep up the great work and thank you and Marge for sharing your wonderful family with us. Also I am 71 yrs old and have always called the cotter pins.😉

In the U.S.A. it is know as a as a cotter pin or cotter key. In the United Kingdom it is known as a split pin. The Key Differences are: Bending Mechanism: Cotter pins are bent to secure, while split pins are spread apart. Thickness and Strength: Split pins are generally thicker and can bear more load. Applications: Cotter pins are more common in precise applications, while split pins are often used in heavier-duty contexts.

I remember working at the pats house back in the late 90’s and we had several different versions of those alternator in stock. So has the same part number but they’d have a dash- then a number and that was the way the rear was clocked. Some times when we were out of the customers was different than the catalogue we’d reclock them.

A 1965 289 Shelby Cobra disguised as a 1963 1/2 Ford Falcon! The engine bay looks really good! That Falcon is going to be really fast on the straights and the curves! Fantastic family involvement!!

Ralphy mentioned that he invents by "Trail and Error". The current term for that is "Research and Development". And Ralphy? You can charge triple for it, when you use that term. Thank you all for the great wholesome entertainment.

When I hear split pins, I think of roll pins. But it's 2024, cotter pins can be whatever they want to be, no questions

When I detailed the engine bay on my 67 cougar XR7, with the engine still in it, I used cheap/thin tinfoil and wrap it around wires and hoses and such to protect it from the spray paint. It's so easy to apply and it works great, too! Just I tip for ya...

As for the alternator, I have had to rotate the back to clear that connection also. Friends said to take it back to store, and were dumbfounded when I showed them. And yes, Ospho is a standard purchase when I work on most anything mechanical. On the used parts from wrecked car, I am with you. On an operational it was run to wornout, but if wrecked the parts were still good to go!

The Plastic or rubber shield that you peeled does have a purpose. That piece keeps air from being able to flow under the hood and directs or keeps it directed through the fan. More air through the fan helps keep engine cooler as you know.
