What a terrific video-The rich dialogue between Josh and Marge throuout the etire process. Wa working on her own car, tackling the most sophisticated and tedious part (carburetor). Approching a challenge=courage. Overcoming adversity=self confidence. Probably the most touching part of the video was Marge counseling Wa to pay attention to ihow it comes apart so she can gat it back together. An incredible mother/daughter moment. Squeeze being shown an additional way of expressing her passion for painting. Ralphies showing his design engineering skills with his trike that he made from scratch. Then there's the absolutely inimitable : " ...or at the local shopping malll - Priceless.

. cotter pins are inserted through a bolt hole then bent into shape , split pins are inserted into a hole and bent during instalation . as well as that in the u.k cotter pins are wedge shaped and used to lock push bike pedal cranks . there are more differences but it would take ages to describe them .split pins are normally made of harder metals for instance.

That rust stuff seems like liquid Naval Jelly. Happy to see you paying attention to the details & makin your ride look Sweet. I actually like the patina look, yet not for underneath. Back before it was cool, i ran my biz with 4 Dodge Tradesman vans. I found the ugliest ones i could find & mechanically it was tip top. Everybody always said to me, make your vans look as well as you keep it up. My answer was , Who is gonna steal an ugly old van ? Nobody ever touched my stuff all thru the 80's & 90's. Nowadays, they'd be all over it. Showing how times change. You got kids, sure you get it. Ty for taking us along

For a good time, try stuffing long tube headers into a V8 1968 Barracuda in a gravel driveway by yourself with a floor jack with a dual exhaust while also replacing a 904 with a 727 trans. Much joy doing that. Just to get the headers in you had to disconnect the steering linkage and to change the starter you had to drop the exhaust and header out. Tons of fun. I had to use jack stands, 4 inch blocks, ratchet straps, and lord knows what else. Then had to drag the old trans out with a chain attached to another car because my skinny butt could not wrestle it out laying on my back. Good times.

In the U.S.A. it is know as a as a cotter pin or cotter key. In the United Kingdom it is known as a split pin. The Key Differences are: Bending Mechanism: Cotter pins are bent to secure, while split pins are spread apart. Thickness and Strength: Split pins are generally thicker and can bear more load. Applications: Cotter pins are more common in precise applications, while split pins are often used in heavier-duty contexts.
