About 15 years ago I took an old cheap grill frame. Added some shelving wood (particle board with laminate cover). Built a nice little cart for my compound miter saw. Works a treat. I can wheel it around where I need it, and the two sides sit at just the right height to be level with the saw bed so I can cut long pieces with an extra holder.

Hey Pete. Love your channel. I have an idea for you. Lets say your oxy/ acetylene tank is empty and you need to heat a 10 mil steel bar in order to bend it for a project. Can you use your pilot arc plasma torch to heat the rod without burning through it. Thanks Gardner

Had to tell ya. I was scrapping a store old movie red box machine. There is a whole plasma machine . Or CNC machine. Inside lol. Wee! Heu!! I just have to pick the right movie to get the right cut. Lol. But really. I just want strait cuts. So I use the motors. With a switch. On or off. … and the movie slots will all hold water. With good drain hole to clean. . All aluminum no bearings . Slides easy.?? Good luck on finding one behind a store. . It’s just all I need. Nice strait plasma cuts. I might use trigger style on of switch with few toggles switches.,. I will do circles by hand. ?

nice, made my plasma cutting trolly from a small roll around parts trolly, needed to be small as i have a small garage (uk) i have the traditional slats that i can pull out individually ad i also made a small square grid from 1 inch tube for the really small stuff no water, its got a sloping trough that catches the sparks in a small box at the back

I like how it’s down to earth building, but it’s not silly. If he needs to wear gloves he wears gloves, if he needs to wear a welding mask he does so. It’s common sense and probably why this proper good bloke still has both his eyes and all his fingers and limbs.
