What a cute idea for kitty or dog to have their own special den. I like the idea of repurposing the tv tray. I use those things all over the house for end tables and such. Now, I will be on the lookout for one, so I can make one for my pup.

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see more cat crafts! 😻😻😻 This is so great and even better; it's a RECYCLED DIY! It looks sturdy (excited that you put some drilling skills into it!) and not just some hot glued together cardboard thingy. I'm done with crappy DIYs. Sharing new innovations of something old but solid is in my opinion, the better part of the DIY community. Give an aged item a chance to grow even older - in style. Just subscribed! 👍👍👍

Oh wow 5 cats. Sounds fun, you probably never get lonely. I'm so tempted to get more they're sssso cute when they're tiny #catbabyfever LOL! They're cute when they're big too. Your cats would probably love tepees. Tod isn't really aware that it's his home. someone told me to try adding cat nip inside the tepee. I'm not sure how catnip works because I'v never tried it but I'd be curious to try it.

@@diylilyardor3435 Catnip will just get everywhere, and the effect doesn't work on all cats. Besides if this is to be a space for the cat to relax, catnip might not be the best solution. Some Tips (that works on my cat): - If you wish for your cat to be comfy with its intended snoozing igloo, try to place it near its regular sleeping area. For example: if your feline prefers your bed, place the igloo next to the bed so it faces towards you while you're lying in bed, but also with a clear view of the room. (this way your pet might feel more secure) Other spots in the bedroom could be the windowsill or on top of a dresser. - Put your cat's favorite toys/blankets in the igloo. (a familiar scent might help to get the snooze fest going) - Treats! Try putting a little trail of goodies that lead up to the igloo. And always give praise after every successful step. - Last but not least is patience. Lots and lots of time and patience! The reward is definitely worth it and when you break it down, it's basically all psychology. Hope that this could be of some help!

OMG I'm cracking up because I JUST found your site when I googled about my leather couch and found your paint your couch to look like leather video, and right now I'm on this massive DIY kick so I clicked your KZbin home page and boom, here is this video and as I start watching it, I put my glass down on my (wait for it, wait for it...) TV tray that looks JUST like the one in this video. AND, I was just about to google DIY Cat Toys (I'm planning on making a Cat Climber out of cardboard this week). Too funny! The way you drill those dowel seem really unsafe, try clamping it securely so you hands aren't in the way of the drill
