DIY Central Vac Install Part 2

You used schedule 40 plumping pipe? Hows it holding up? I was going to do the same since its cheaper than the proprietary schedule 20 (or was ot 10?) Based on what ive found, sonce Schedule 40 is designed for liquids and not air, it doesn't have the smoothest internals and poses a higher clog risk

We have not had any problems with it so far. You're right the other pipe was expensive and hard to get so we went with what we could afford and get. Time will tell if that was the right decision.
