Hello ! 👋 I'm roasting coffee from 2018 or so .. I've use some German machine ( not expensive ) but didn't work like i would do because my voltage energy supply.. now I'm using a Gene Cafe CBR 101 and quite satisfied ! I'm also planning to make my own roaster ! Just some advice for you if u can take.. you are roasting in to second crack and 4 sure u get some oil over the beans.. U may like that but try to make 1 batch with 1st crack medium dark and see the difference.. to not become oil coffee.. see if u like it .. and also i have a cooling made myself that in center i have little bar metal spinning with some help from a motor and it's connected to a vacuum very similar like u have and my coffee gets cold in 1-1.5 minutes ! Sorry if i mistake some words.. English It's not my primary language !

Good video! I was also unsure about wiring the screwdriver, the instructions were unclear

observe how the batteries are polarized (+ and -) in the screwdriver then copy that polarity to a 120VAC to 12VDC, 500mA adapter (transformer).

Looks so good! How is the flavor compared to other roasting methods?.

That's cool with the wheel you don't use any thermometer for monitoring temps?. I made mine with paddles. Now i have a Kaldi Fortis 600g drum the coffee tastes much better 8:37

i've used a thermometer just to see what the beans get up to--around 450-480F in ~15-20 minutes, sometimes more in chillyn weather.

Awesome work! I also built a wobble disc roaster myself though I used a JGY370 worm gear motor. This is my setup though in this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKDXo32Yn6eemrs) I used metal spoons embedded in the shaft instead. This has since been modified to use a wobble disc made from a tin can lid. This is a great roaster and I can roast 200gms in under 10 minutes! You can see it in action in reddit with the subject title "Home made Larry Cotton heat gun wobble disc roaster" kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4mqiZ1vdtF2p7s
