This is something I thought of years ago but lacked a guitar to experiment on. I need to pick up somethimg inexpensive and give it a go. I should be making videos! It's very jangly isn't it? Interesting sound. I think I'd need to set it up for a darker tone ie p/ups, tone cap etc and amp settings.

Robert Fripp did it, sort of. He calls it "New Standard Tuning". It's basically fifths tuning. The Mandolin family emulates Violin family tuning.
