While the color is pretty unique, I would go with something that will stand out a little more from the lip. I don' t think the color difference is drastic enough and it kind of just blends together. I think that a nice gold would work perfect, especially for a car of that era.

Sweet upload dude! The pink is definitely unique, but it works. I say, just send it. Paint the whole car the silver inner wheel color, and use the pink gold for small subtle accent parts (e.g. a pinstripe, or small trim piece.) Plastidip can be made into custom (removable) colors to experiment with too. Keep doing what you do!

Like it when you see the subtle reflexion of the spokes onto the inner rim. A slight gold touch (just what the pink's doing now) should look amazing! Don't exaggerate with the colors, it would take away attention from the aluminium 👍

Mateusz K when you run a low offset the bearings wear alot easier cause it puts alot more stress on the bearings. If the offset was higher it would rest more on the actual wheel rather than the bearing itself

It would have been better as gold but the salmon pink is alright, some people will say style point on the color but it is what its pink lol...bs aside go with it the metallic background makes it looks awesome 👍 good work man.

If you get some black pigment and throw another clear coat on with it it should hide the pink a little and give it kind of a burnt look. Or add a gold pigment on top instead

The pink clear is actually sick. But you'll have to coordinate the rest of the cars colors around it to make it work. Buuuuuuuut that same strategy with gold would be so good!

The dad moment was awesome to makes the video real, be interested in a cost breakdown at how you did the wheels for $100 each (hopefully i didn't miss some information). FYI plenty of old corolla's in NZ you could probably buy a whole vehicle and ship to US for reasonable cheap or plenty of parts, Aussie has them too but custom laws can be a pain even on export..only say this cause its on my car list

The other thing is I always use acetone to prep everything first or lacquer thinner and then also I use oven cleaner to remove paint

The more I looked at it the more it grew on me. Maybe try getting some straight gold pearl scuff the wheels and add the gold pearl clear over the current pink so you get more gold flake accent and it would look even better.

The barrel of the wheel is on back to front thats why you get the horrendously big lip. Take the face off and turn it round.
