That metal strainer was a waste of time, it doesn’t hold anything back. You squeezed all of what you was supposed to strain right back into your oil. Still a nice video 🌹

So rich and creamy! For it to get buttery faster, def put it in the fridge so that it can slightly solidify before whipping! 💕

Let it sit in the refrigerator first for at least 20 mins, than whip it. It doesn't matter if its raw or not it's all the same when it's a butter.. just one is refined and one is unrefined (which is preferred but not recommended).

I really enjoyed the video 1. What preservative do we use? 2. How many times should it be used? 3. What are the functions of this butter? 3. Is it for all hair types? Like dreads, transistioning hair, and natural hair?
@MzDami3 жыл бұрын
Hi JD, First off, thank you so much for watching 🧡. To answer your questions, I've never used preservatives in my diy products, but I've been getting quite a few inquires about it, so once I've done my research I'll let you guys know. There's not a limit to the amount of times you can use this. It does weigh down your hair so it depends on your preference. I mostly use this to add moisture to my hair for my protective styles. This can be used for any hair texture.
@mocca2sweet2 жыл бұрын
One thing I learned is that you usually only need a preservative if you're using water or fresh ingredients (like avocados, aloe vera leaves, etc) in your diy! If you're using oils, I don't believe you need one.
