The info on making wire ears, leg bones, patterns with tape, and sewing is SO helpful! I’m trying to make a jackalope, and ears that big have to be light. All of your eeveelution art dolls are adorable 💖

It is very clever how you have the pelt sewn onto the skeleton with a seam along the tummy so that that seam can't be seen.

ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! So fascinating!! Tysm for going step by step with us I appreciate that so much!! Even if I could never do something so EPIC! 🤯 It's so wonderful of you to teach us about armature and the types of fur and how to trim and so many things! My main hobby is resin but I wanted to do a couple of simple art dolls to give one to my sis and my mother 🥰 but more like the clay faced on a poof kind of ones esp bc I am no good with sewing!! Hahaha! Again TySSSSM this was AMAZING! I have definitely subscribed 💕💕💕

Maybe I'm stingy but I wonder during face flocking, if you can trim pieces of fur from the face and re-use them
@UmbraTundra Жыл бұрын
It gets less dense near the top and takes a while to gather up the fibers to make it as straight and neat as when you first cut it off the backing so I don't recommend it

How did you come up with the neck ruff pattern? Did you have to test it with scrap fabric before trying with fur?
@UmbraTundra Жыл бұрын
I measured the circumference of the neck and kind of just winged it with paper, it's a simple enough shape so the initial one I got worked fine :)

When the hot glue in the stuffing hardens does it mess with how squishable the doll is?
