"AMAZING"!!! That is a lot of work as you said, "BUT" what an accomplishment ! & you have no experience ! !!! I was at a challenging moment when deciding to entail a Kingston Valance, speaking of a lot of work! 96" Valance & side drapes, everything lined pinch pleats, cording, I did a happy dance, it came so professional, husband did the installation, & literally saved thousand $ So glad I took that first step, I guess it's passion & perseverance & Avanti you had both, "GREAT JOB"

What a great job! I was going to order fabric...but the bleached drop cloth is an excellent idea... especially since drop cloth can shrink when washed, better to have it washed before cutting! I'll just spray fabric protector on it for extract protection against spill and all! Didn't know about add inches to the foam to address the depth shrinkage either. Great tip!

Would you recommend using waterproof material to prevent staining from coffee or wine?

No really, I think sewing a waterproof material may be more difficult 😞.

Hola, muy bueno tu video. Pero me gustaría saber de que forma lo lavas, sobretodo por el color claro?
@AvantiMorocha13 жыл бұрын
Hola, los cojines de este estilo no se lavan, es por eso que aplique dos capas protectoras de scotchgard.

That is gorgeous! I am going to buy fabric and supplies and get started on mine. My only question is: You made yours 3 1/2 " wider, but how do I calculate that? I am making a smaller cushion for a table that measures 24 1/2" by 31 1/2". Thank you.

Hi, thank you! It has been a while since I made it. To be honest, I don’t remember how I did the calculations, but I think I explained it in the video.

Your cushion turned out amazing. I’ve been procrastinating this exact same project. I’m curious about how the edge tufting is formed - when you pass the needle through for the side/edge tufting - are you passing through the foam and some of the foam is creating the volume in the edge tuft?
@AvantiMorocha12 жыл бұрын
Hi, thank you, I understand you. I did procrastinate for a long time before I finally decided to make it. When making the edges, I didn't take the foam, but I took the batting for the volume.

Wow the cushion looks amazing! I am thinking of making one of these myself and just looking at fabrics, how has the drop cloth held up for you so far? x

It's holding well, but I have to say my bedroom bench doesn't have that much traffic.

Thank you I love this! I am getting ready to start and am following your instructions. I am not a master seamstress... I see the 1" seam allowance, did you make the seams all 1" or did you do 1/2" inch and leave extra room to make all the tufts? Muchas Gracias!
@AvantiMorocha14 жыл бұрын
Hi, I'm not a master seamstress either, but if I made it, I'm confident you'll also make it. I left a 1" seam allowance all over. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e4rLZZR-hdKZiM0
