Rachel, I just want to say thank you so much! You’re the reason I have my dog and have fostered 20 pups! And a lot of my family have adopted some of them! And I got my friend into fostering. You’re so amazing and on March 25th, 2020 I watched your how to get your parents to say yes to a puppy. The video was like no other! My mom decided to try to foster. And signed up for a bunch of foster pups. But my mom did want to adopt my pup mamba. And on May 3rd we adopted him! In late July we started fostering up onto now. Tomorrow I have a blind pit Pup I’m fostering. I’m only 11 but because of you I’ve already done so much fostering! I aspire to be like you one day when I grow up!

Hi I reviewed a bunch of your videos and I can say that I am crazy about your enthusiasm and love for dogs. So I have a question I had shih tsu, but she got sick and we had to put her to sleep. To fill the empty space we decided to take two shih tsu puppies. On January 2nd I can pick up the puppies from the nest. At first I didn't even think that something might not work, but I was told that there is Littermate syndrome. Now I am terribly afraid to take two girls puppies and I am afraid that I will not be able to raise them properly. What would you recommend? Should I take two shih tsu at once or is it really bad for dogs? After all, this is a shih tsu ... not a shepherd dog

I'm not really going to say yes or no but, if you're going to adopt two dogs it's going to be more work than one you'd have to separate them to train them.

Hi Rachel, I love your videos and they have been extremely helpful with my puppy. I'm still really struggling with him barking for attention not because he needs food or to go out but just if I look at the TV or anything besides him he barks. Is the best way to deal with this really to completely ignore until the barking stops and how long do you think it takes to train that way because his bark is very piercing. Hi Rachel! I have a 7 mon Australian Shepard, on a mostly raw diet. However, my local vet seems to be against raw and said i should just trust kibble to know my dogs getting the correct nutrients. I know raw is more work but I’m willing and have done the research to make sure my pup gets what she needs. What do you think of that?

I feel like I have a really dumb question so I appreciate any help or feedback. We just got our fluffy little puppy today(!) And I feel like we're giving him treats left and right. We say leave it and down almost at the same time and then treats and I wonder if he knows what he's getting treats for sometimes. Should we just focus on one thing at a time? Also I take him out to go potty but he seems to take for-ev-errrr to go! Is there anything I can do to speed it up or is it just like a waiting game?

Sorry, I may have misunderstood. But it's best to go slow and steady saying the two words in the same second will confuse the dog that it's a command all together and only do commands when you combine two of them. Also you could try bell-training every time you go to take your dog to potty have them press the bell after you have this routine down pack your dog will associate the bell with potty and I think they'll have to alert you whenever they need to go potty.
