I've been debating whether to get a gel steamer. I have gotten better at removing gel polish and it's not as much of a hassle, but the simpler I can make it, the more I will actually wear it. I don't wear it much currently, as I like to change my polish weekly, sometimes more. May have to invest in this. Thanks for the video!

Thank you! If you’re just looking for a hand vacuum to clean up your work station, I recommend the Dirt Devil, if you can find it. I still have mine but the Dyson is just a beast and comes with different attachments so it has kinda replaced my Dirt Devil. The Dyson is an investment though, and I use it for the whole house, not just my nail station.

Do you find that adding coconut oil to the acetone makes your manicure lift? I use dip powder and I was just wondering what your thoughts were
@TheBeautyVault4 жыл бұрын
I'm confused by the question. Are you asking if the steamer can be used to remove dip?
@corrinethiel11204 жыл бұрын
No just in general adding coconut to the acetone does it make your manicure lift more or not. Sorry lol
@TheBeautyVault4 жыл бұрын
No worries. Like does the coconut oil aid in the removal? Maybe a little. The warm acetone does most of the work though. If you're using it to remove dip, you'll prob have to do a few cycles to get it off completely, so the coconut oil will at the least help your skin/cuticles from getting as dried out.

@TheBeautyVault4 жыл бұрын
It's uncomfortable holding the hand like a claw for 10 mins straight, so when I'm relaxing or shifting the position of my hand, it sometimes makes contact with the solution. Not only that, the coconut oil melts into the acetone and its properties are in the steam. You can see a literal difference in the dryness of the skin when you add coconut oil to the acetone versus when you don't. I'm not a scientist, but it works. If you think otherwise, just don't use it.
