I'm just getting back into sewing and I live for your videos! I watched Studio Rosado's tutorial on this ski mask the other day and came to your page to see if you had made one similar because your videos are so thorough and straight to the point! I wish you were in Atlanta. I'd pay you to help me design and create my birthday dress. Keep being an inspiration Sis!

My sister just asked me about making one of these and I saw this pattern last night. I wondered with the pieces laid out, does it seem easy enough to make the opening area smaller? So ultimately less horizontal/side face is exposed?

and yours came out dope, of course 🔥

I was wondering the same thing since it showed so much of my hair on the side. Making the strips thicker/wider would probably work!

@@jon_yae so I made the pattern and found two things through trial and error: you can correct the opening areas overall size by adjusting the overall width of your Bias binding around the nose and especially along forehead, and you get another cool look that I almost prefer if you sew the two side panels together at the neck and then stretching and sewing the flap along the bottom edge of the entire mask. Depending on the stretch of your fabric of your fabric the tighter neck may or may not let your head in. Also I doubled up the fabric on the pattern piece that looked like a glock, which I overall preferred as my fabric was a thinner jersey knit
